great pics at the link ... no matter how much money the Beard throws around, she cannot escape her prognathic duck-lipped face and her anatomically-mandated forward truncal lean

"'From the White House to Versailles it's not that far,' said Susan Swimmer, author of Michelle Obama: First Lady of Fashion and Style."
Michelle Antoinette. That's the ticket.
Cue the tumbrils and the Guillotine.
Posted by Fat Man at February 12, 2014 9:39 AMThe beauty of her gown is second only to the warmth of her smile.
Posted by ahem at February 12, 2014 9:44 AMRIMSHOT!
Posted by vanderleun at February 12, 2014 9:59 AMI guess it's fair that the government paid for the gown, since a secret service agent is hiding under it.
Posted by Gagdad Bob at February 12, 2014 10:12 AMThe dress my have cost us $12K but how much did we "contribute" to that ring on her finger?

Obamas Seen in the Bible !
Proverbs 19:10 (NIV): "It is not fitting for a fool to live in luxury - how much worse for a slave to rule over princes!"
Also Proverbs 30:22 (NIV) which says that the earth cannot bear up under "a servant who becomes king."
I see England, I see France,
I see who in the White House wears the pants

Posted by jwm at February 12, 2014 11:10 AMWait... if I say anything is it good because I am complaining about the wealthy or bad because it makes me a racist? Liberalism is sooo fricked up.
Posted by Potsie at February 12, 2014 11:21 AMI don't know about the woman personally, although I get the impression that she's very angry and despises white people, but I'm just glad the whole "she's the next Jackie O and soooooo beautiful" myth has quietly shuffled off in humiliation.
By no objective standard has this woman ever been beautiful, classy, or even well-dressed except by accident.
Posted by Christopher Taylor at February 12, 2014 11:25 AMNo help; 12 grand and no help at all. That's gotta hurt.
Maybe an hour or two of looking at pictures of Eleanor Roosevelt would cheer her up a bit?
I didn't realize NBA star Patrick Ewing cross-dressed.
Posted by Scott M at February 12, 2014 12:47 PMMaybe Barry gets to try it on when Mooch is done wearing it. I'll bet he does a sweet sashay.

I wouldn't be too sure about that. The DM piece refers to her as "stunning" (open, I realize, to interpretation) in that $12k rag.

Posted by leelu at February 12, 2014 4:00 PMDavid Alan Greer's label "stank ho" sums it up pretty well.
Posted by Jack at February 12, 2014 7:22 PMIs she giving the french dood the finger?
Posted by ghostsniper at February 12, 2014 7:52 PMI wonder what she sees when she looks in the mirror?
I don't think it is what I see.
Does delusional apply to dress as well as ideology ?

Posted by Roger in Republic at February 13, 2014 12:03 AMOn the one hand, it is often, that many moments and poses that pass unrecognized and unremarked in realtime, are captured by the camera.
On the other hand, it may be that people who have a lot of intense emotions in their lives, whether able to release them or not, these emotions play across their faces unbeknownst to themselves. i.e. when a person does a lot of shouting, the face feels natural when it's in the the shouting pose.
Kinda looks like somebody is trying to force a smile, while their face is in open revolt.
I don't know, man. The sight of the retreating backsides of that clown show can't come soon enough. Jeez what a fix we've put ourselves in.
Posted by John A. Fleming at February 13, 2014 12:58 AMIt is impossible to see the bottom of the well of contrivance which this couple provides. Perhaps they are meant to reflect our degraded state back to us so that we may see what we have become. I've crossed over.
