I suppose that picture of the Great Pretender et. al. adequately depicts the prevailing mood of the nation. Never thought I'd be feeling nostalgic about the ennui experienced during the Carter administration. The chastisement continues...

But I thought he wanted this all to happen. The economy is the lowest since the great depression and probably if the government was honest it is worse. Obamacare threatens everyones health care and their health. The enormous debt he ran up buying votes and paying off cronies will crush us. All of his cabinet are now unindicted co-conspirators in one high crime or misdemeanor or another and we are in a tailspin to oblivion that we can't seem to pull out of. Isn't this what the red diaper baby in chief wanted from the get go? Wasn't that what the whole dog whistle of "hope and change" was all about?

That photograph captures the essence of bullshit. Some of us saw it five years ago.

We called bullshit five years ago, sure, but nobody knew the true extent of it. Well, except Bill Ayers and a few friends. It's been educational, and I mean that sincerely.

One the toughest challenges for me has been giving up cynicism. Having once fully embraced the culture of decay, I'd have to say that GWTTW is correct, this is all part of the hope n' change hustle.

The National Enquirer is by far the only good newspaper in the country. Be looking for Hussein to be electro shocked at Bethesda Naval in the New Year.

Richard - At least Carter knew he blew it and seemed remorseful deep down, although superficially he kept up the Presidential facade. Obama more and more is exhibiting the totally clueless, "wha hoppen" look.
