Is that a blast of choom dust blowing out the muzzle? Don't see the recoil effects either; any experts out there to verify that the recoil would show an uplifted barrel and a pushback at his shoulder given the "powder puff" in the air.Posted by madtntaxpayer at February 4, 2013 5:27 PM
Spoke with my mother this evening... "THAT'S NOT HOW YOU HOLD A GUN!"Posted by Postsie at February 4, 2013 5:29 PM
Perhaps our boy was shooting a .410 with blanks.Posted by Dave at February 5, 2013 3:24 AM
If the shotgun is ported -- which it appears to be -- you won't get much muzzle lift.
But again, skeet shooting is to the Second Amendment what Knights of Columbus bingo is to the First.Posted by mushroom at February 5, 2013 7:41 AM
Certainly its a very light load, you'd damage your shoulder and face firing a real shotgun shell like that. And what's he shooting at? The guy operating the machine?
But its good enough to fool people who know nothing about guns and find them scary.Posted by Christopher Taylor at February 5, 2013 9:01 AM
I've only fired a shotgun a couple of time, yet I look at that picture and think "Busted collar bone? Munged-up rotator cuff??"

Ok, what is that light colored thing at the end of the uppper barrel? I would think both barrels would be identical.Posted by John Lien at February 5, 2013 12:49 PM
Maybe a choke tube? The bottom one could be flush. You could have upper barrel as full or extra-full and the lower as IC or open.Posted by mushroom at February 5, 2013 4:59 PM
Mushroom, that light colored thingy is a tampon. Obama was just warming it up before inserting it with that wood and steel applicator.Posted by Vermont Woodchuck at February 6, 2013 3:57 AM
