Obama: Working the Enemies List

The pres's approach is just 1920's and 1930's anti-semitic propoganda, slightly warmed over. Both Stalin and Hitler used it with, unfortunately, very good success. Will it work in 2010?

they always hate to pay those bankers back a single penny of the principle

Umm, shouldn't that last word be "principal"? (Granted that Teh Won and his cronies are utterly unprincipled.)

Gurrrrrrr..... okay. Thanks.

Remind me again, which party in Congress pushed through TARP?

Posted by Phil at January 24, 2010 1:36 PM

Which one extended and increased TARP, allocated it, and left more than half the disbursed amount laying in wait for the 2010 election cycle?

Which party was it that fired the CEO of GM? After it had already destroyed its bondholders....?

I forgets, but then I'm just a simple white male high school grad with a little honorable military service and a twenty year track record in a highly skilled technical trade.

You know, the real terror threat facing America.

On a parallel track, I would like to point out that the popular targets of Left hate (like me) have been vilified, crucified, condemned, caricatured, and generally treated with contempt by All The Smartest People for so long that the slings and arrows simply look silly.

You want an economy, you better have competent bankers. You want flush toilets, maybe you can spare a moment of praise for civil engineers, hard hats, and ahem surveyors... we don't just rape the earth, we make human life an experience of growth and advancement.

When we aren't cutting down Redwoods just to make toothpicks, of course. /sarcasm.

Obama has arrived at the firing step of the Marxist revolution but only now realizes that in his Amerika, his Beria can't remove the opposition by violence, but is instead only capable of strongly slanted news stories in the Times. (Pick one. Which one doesn't matter.) Obama has no teeming army of knee breakers - only tiny pockets of True Believers that operate in machine cities and only as long as they have the weight of past narrative behind them as victims which they are given grace to hide behind. The Times remains too cowardly to cross him on the odd political crimes. Obama arrived with the intent to use the Democrat party as his shield... and then found that the Plantation rule surely exists. He was going to be their shield as they got about the serious business of continuing business as usual, sucking the nation dry for their own interests.

He cannot fabricate a domestic enemy of sufficient majesty to make him look like any kind of believable savior. He couldn't manage a whore house in Vegas during convention week.

I know why he went to Chicago. It's the only city on the planet beside San Francisco where an empty suit can rise to the top.

If I were a Muslim in charge of killing infidels, I'd be putting the word out to stand down. Right the f*ck now.

A sleeping giant is grumbling. Even the Islamic fascists know better than to be near the top on the To Do list once it wakes.

“Bankers” is a feathered witch-doctor's shibboleth

Where's big oil? He left out big oil. Wait till gas prices go up again...

Toothpicks, TmjUtah? I made six-ply toilet paper out of the redwoods I cut down.

Six. Plies, man. Just because I could.

Kidding aside, TmjUtah makes several excellent points. However, in defense of Phil I'll point out that economic illiteracy (and/or shenanigans) knows no party boundaries.

I'll also quote a recent commenter at Jaded Haven, who noted that it takes Republicans to implement the progressive agenda at a pace the American people are willing to tolerate.

"After all, what is the “business model” for a political campaign?..."

Given your subsequent highly accurate description thereof, I'd have to say "Ponzi scheme."

It's all this sumbitch's fault.

Notice that BO won't use the word fight in discussing Iran.

Posted by Fat Man at January 24, 2010 10:19 PM

Nor will he use the word victory in discussing Muslim terrorism. Hell, he won't even use the words Muslim terrorism.
