Outslicking Slick Willie

Ah, the massed chants praising the leader rising in the background. The glazed eyes. The metronomic nodding. The sprinkling in of 3rd tier celebrities with ordinary people. The ritual gestures. The awestruck worship. The slickness. The repeating slogans. The slowly gathering masses.

When's the last time we saw this kind of popular delusion take hold of crowds?

And people like Ann Althouse are concerned with imagined letters in the night?

This is the most frightening piece of film I have ever seen. The Death Camps are coming to America

I can't help it. I was getting ready for work the other day and was watching "Angel" reruns.

The episode was culmination of the "Jasmine" arc where they defeat the wonderously happy and evil demon from a parallel dimension who is bent on bringing mindless happiness to our dimension and in the process eating everyone.

It's just really freaky, the parallels. Sell your soul for peace! It's sort of the left coast version of Nazism I guess...

is the tom-tom BEAT
of the sound of THAT
which happens WHEN
people abdiCATE
their reason and THOUGHT
to the tom-tom BEAT
of hope and CHANGE
and self-reGARD
when the burden of THOUGHT
is too damn HARD
so we put our FAITH
in an empty SUIT
who can tell us WHAT
we want to DREAM
as the tribal BOOT
to the tom-tom BEAT
stomps a human FACE
to the tom-tom BEAT
and then rapes the SOUL
as in days of OLD
to the tom-tom BEAT
of o-ba-MA

Wonder when we'll see someone at a rally holding a gonfalon with a big "O" on it. If they follow form, red should start showing up as a back drop to really whip those animals into a frenzy.

Won't get fooled again.

Yea, right.

If Obama is the Dems' candidate, I can't wait for the November.

Obama reminds me of the hypnotic Frodis from The Monkees episode "Mijacogeo." In the episode The Monkees and their friends are hypnotized by their TV sets which are controlled by the Evil Wizard Glick who used an alien Frodis to control people's minds in order to take over the world:

The greatist trick leftist fascism ever pulled was convincing the world it doesn't exist.

I thought this was a parody with a Jessica Alba look-alike until I saw it on another blog.

I take it the copyright ran out on "Triumph of the Will?"

Wow! Lighten up folks you are acting as paranoid as the anti bush people usually act.

All that was needed at the end of this movie was Donald Sutherland turning around and screeching at the camera.

If Obama wins in November, I plan on tearing up the garden and refusing to ever sleep again.

You can't call Jessica Alba a "3rd tier celebrity".... That just ain't right.

As for Obama... It has a ring to it, don't it
