They are the ones in good company. You are number one.
Check's in the mail.
Well if ya’ take out some of the big boys such as newspapers, (WSJ, Wash Post, etc.) , TV (Fox News), radio hosts (Rush, Beck, Ingraham, Hannity) and syndicated columnists (Malkin, Coulter, etc.) your in.
Congats, you’re a daily read and an invaluable source of info., enlightenment and just plain fun.
Keep up the good work.

Posted by: captain dave at July 30, 2010 9:35 AMWe come for the quality of work, not the size of the audience. You're still number one for thought-provoking and soul-searching clarity. Write on, Vanderleun. Please, write on.
Posted by: twolaneflash at July 30, 2010 10:27 AMLet me add my wish for your continued success. We need American Digest! Keep on keeping on....
Posted by: Pete Madsen at July 30, 2010 12:23 PMAmerican Digest; Mark Steyn and Iowahawk not in the list of the "Top 100" of conservative blogs??
Then a new list should be started immediately with those three at the very top (bracketed in any order as joint No.1).
You are too, too kind to the compilers Gerard. Never saw you as a humble dude, just not pushy. You reach the parts that other blogs do not reach. And I'm sure you realise that, too, which is no doubt why you spend so much time producing your magic. Keep the aspidistra flying.
There is a certain handicap imposed on the use of
subtlety, and words of more than two syllables.
Vive la difference!... you ARE the Man.
