Which plague is next?
Whether the furry critter is a mouse, rat, or vole, the King Rat better be hoping it wasn't carrying fleas infected with Yersinia pestis, aka the plague bacillus. All three types of rodents have been found to spread the plague via fleas nesting in their fur.
