Dare we point out that it's Joey Hairplugs who's currently being given the "crazy uncle" treatment and being kept in a secure, undisclosed location. Palin, conversely, has rapidly scooted up the learning curve and now mixes easily with the media who, it seems, are increasingly taking a liking to her.
Gee, guess who looks more "Vice-Presidential" now?

George Bush rides like a badass. John Kerry sorta rides, at least he knows it's cool and he tries in his foppish, dilettante way.
But if Obama is riding safe enough for the kiddy trailer then what the hell is he wearing the damn helmet for.

Obama doesn't really come off like a clandestine illuminati tough guy, of course, but I agree that biking is a superb form of exercise. It took me a long time to convince my husband to ride a bike with me, however.
