Your Daily Truth: This just in from Donald Sensing and Daughter

"No place but in this besotted country could some bright young shoeless Arkansan go to Washington with nothing more than the Worlds Biggest Rolodex and some finely tuned Kennedy Body Language only to retire rich as Croseus 8 years later to a triple residency in Chappaqua, Georgetown and some architectural Gewgaw in Little Rock." - D.W. Sabin"

From Sense of Events: Heck, I even miss Clinton! Pass it along.

After drinking a few beers, I can feel benevolent enough to be ashamed to say I miss him too.

I don't even drink, and I still miss him.

You can cry in your beer, Cilla. I will never miss this man. He has quantities of blood on his hand. If we were to see the destruction caused by this man's ineptitude, we might be shocked. Or not.

I do miss the internet, that was like spending a weekend high on meth with a new credit card.
Too bad we had to wake up.

Jewel, I never cry in my beer. A waste of good brew. But, if you compare him to what we have presently, well, I did write that I was ashamed. Quantities of blood on his hands? I am not surprised. The destruction caused by this man's ineptitude, not shocking. The difference between him and Obama is like the difference between two poisons. One poison will set you adrift in a slow, painless euphoric death, while the other poison will make you suffer all the way to your death. I chose the euphoric poison.

Dear Mr. Vanderleun: The Sensing poster is an oldie but goodie, as this tidbit from Kennedy's time will show. I would note that the dreadful parlor game of "Who would you choose, Billyboy or The One?" assumes that we "know" what Billyboy would do if he were Prez. Nope. Billyboy is a dreadful swine, who would be casting his shifty gaze all around, looking for new suckers to fool and exploit. The Tea Party would be high on his list of targets, though Billyboy would never make the mistake of airing his disdain publicly as the doltish One does. He might have avoided some of The One's efforts at cutting his own throat, but that would have been self-preservation, not trying to serve his country.

The pessimists need to contemplate The One as ex-Prez, with Billyboy, the Bumpkin, and the Bushes as fellow club members. That, and that dreadful old battleaxe Michelle. That's a vision we can all work toward.

Sincerely yours,
Gregory Koster

Gregory has the story right. I lobbied in DC during the Clinton years, and the man is as devious and manipulative as one of the old Russian Masters from the cold war era. His superior glibness and oleaginous charm well masks a man obsessed, absolutely possessed, with power, getting even and the conquest of other people in the most painful possible ways.

Barack is socially clumsier and a million times slower on the verbal rebound than Clinton, but under that they are both ugly menaces to all that is good and right. Don't be softheaded about either one of these monsters!

No President since Reagan has been worth a damn. I don't miss George W., or Clinton, or H.W. And I sure won't miss BO.

Even Bill Clinton misses Bush...but he can still hit the dress.
