Job One of the left is always to redefine reality in order to make it comport with their higher Truth. So the statements about Bush are deceptive but accurate.

Rather than an ideological strategy, the Left is a lexicographical tactic. --Don Colacho's Aphorisms

Americans who do not pay attention (most who went to public school) think that politics is a contest between ideas working toward a common goal.

Americans would like to be free. Free, secure in their homes, and solvent would be nice, but "free" is that undefined yet somehow accepted ideal.

Like, what the founding document say they were written for...

The Left is a zero sum monolith. There is only win or lose.

No middle. No compromise. Win. Lose.

They've worked for a century to win. Obama has put them at 3d and goal.

Next January is a long, long way down the road.

We'll see what the stats are at the end of January, after the seasonal jobs go out the door with the shedding Christmas trees.
