Not Dark Yet But It's Getting There

Dark. A very new addition to the vocabulary,

engendered by the Washington Pravda, under the new dominion of its Insect Overlord, Bezos, the New York Slimes, and their robots in the TV media, as a descriptor of Donald Trump’s acceptance speech at the recent Republican National Convention. After Trump laid out the problems facing America (crime, illegal immigration, bad trade policies, lawlessness and a destructive foreign policy) and then vowing to lead the nation to rejuvenation and greater glory, the speech was labelled “dark”. Note how the word appeared in all Party organs at the same time. “Light” speeches, on the other hand, talk endlessly of unicorns, pixie dust and building bridges, and are deemed “insightful, healing and inclusive” (aka Democrat piffle). - - Newspeak for Everyone

Well I been to London and I been to gay Paree
I followed the river and I got to the sea
I've been down to the bottom of a whirlpool of lies
I ain't lookin' for nothin' in anyone's eyes

Sometimes my burden is more than I can bear
It's not dark yet, but it's getting there

I was born here and I'll die here, against my will
I know it looks like I'm movin' but I'm standin' still

Every nerve in my body is so naked and numb
I can't even remember what it was I came here to get away from
Don't even hear the murmur of a prayer
It's not dark yet, but it's getting there

The memo reached it's mark. The first words out of the mouth of a "moderate" acquaintance of mine--dark speech.

You know what's worse. Yesterday some Mook talked about The Russians hacking the DNC website on behalf of Donald Trump. This morning every news outlet I read had "Russian hack" front and center.

The progressives have been coordinating their talking points since Bubba Clinton arrived in D.C. One of his staffers, John Podesta, was the brains behind this idea. Podesta is now running Hillary's campaign. Such coordinated messaging will continue as long as HRC is running and in power. Coordinating the narrative with poll tested talking points is one of the reasons we are where we are today. The vast army of LIVs accepts this narrative as the conventional wisdom.

Dark is the new "gravitas"?

Trump's darkness is already taking hold. Now, Catholic Mass is a mark.

@Glenn -- I got a kick out of finding out that Hillary's campaign manager is Robby Mook. I remembered "mook" from years ago (Frank de Lima's "Da year of da moke") but looked it up again, anyway. Web search, yielded on-line Oxford dictionary result:

mook [mo͝ok] NOUN
US informal
a stupid or incompetent person.

I am very pleased to see you invoke Bob Dylan to support your insights.
