He is a crap weasel and crooked as the back road to Redhouse WVA. How in your right mind, knowing all the skeletons in your closet, are you going to put yourself out for public scrutiny…that leads to people wanting to look in your closet?
I’m no saint but there is NO WAY I would ever run for public office or put myself in the public eye for scrutiny. I’m not answering to anyone but Him for some of the dumb shit I did in years’ past.

I’m with you Snakepit….no way in Hell would I campaign for anything only to be opened up for a social autopsy. Another thing I refuse to do is send in a little DNA swab to investigate my ancestral history.

A close friend of mine decided to do his 23AndMe thing and when his test results were returned the report, among other things, gave him the name and address for a woman who was a biological half-sister….that he didn’t know about.
My chum’s dad had this child during his marriage to his mother and I cannot recall if he supported her but I thought…..you know, when I was young, handsome and incredibly promiscuous there is a chance that I could have fathered a child that I don’t know about.
That possibility, even if it is remote, is a door I do not intend to open.

Never underestimate the pride that blinds so many to reality. I still remember a 60 Minutes segment from many years ago wherein they interviewed some big shot in the “self esteem” movement and pointed out to him that in a survey used by his organization to determine how much “self esteem” certain groups held for themselves the group scoring highest were all prison inmates.
