Just click “play”… then go for full screen…
and take a two-minute time out from the twerking madness…

Now that was Fun. Remember fun? It used to be a thing. Now, not so much.
Maybe it’ll come back in style…
As a sideline: I really enjoyed the Zero Armed Bandit piece.

A mental health break needs some feline contributions– here’s a New Year’s Day video from the Aussie cat trainer (January 1 is summertime Down Under, so of course he could take three cats to the beach). The cats aren’t doing anything as boisterous as jumping in piles of leaves, but I found their graceful movements relaxing– plus there’s the beauty of an Australian beach at sunrise, complete with the occasional seagull as well as sand and surf:

The Aussie owned by these cats is lucky that last New Years’ Day occurred before the Woo Woo Flu hit; Melbourne and some other parts of Australia are now under some of the most severe lockdowns in the world.
Well the great seasonal leaf infiltration is already starting around here.
Gotta blow the decks off almost everyday.
Seems to start earlier each year.
Or maybe the years are just getting shorter.
Thanks for that, still grinning.
Here’s a mental health break. Trust me

Sheer,unleashed,unbridled,FUN…
The waggin’ tails make it perfect.
Aussie Didja cat is craZ good. Swimming with dogs, ffs? Duly impressed.
@Rondo-Mrs Brown,did’nt she Have a Lovely Daughter?
Regular viewer of a dog named Stella and her sidekick, Mabel. Sometimes we get to see the kids, too. Darling. Very good for mental health.
Wonderful!
Thank you Gerard, I laughed out loud sitting here by myself at 7am and am *defintely* sending this to several family members to watch!
THIS is a thing best shared! Thank you!
This is slightly off topic… but a great reason that makes me want to jump into the leaves. Maybe, finally, the psy-op is losing traction. This is good news… the numbers are coming in and this flu wasn’t much of anything at all. https://tinyurl.com/yyjo96to
I enjoyed the zero-armed bandit piece, too. the site has a wealth of good reads. somehow between here and there I landed on this essay, worth a look-

You’re right gwbnyc… in fact I’ve had an item in the hopper on that article and I may it move into rotation soon. Good call.
Mmmmmmmmmmmm, good!
I loved this–it’s nice to watch people and animals having fun without someone trying to spoil it or lecture us all on why it’s a bad thing.
