Haven’t seen a Bollywood production. It appears that they have no pretense as to what they are producing. Specifically, just escapist entertainment with no sanctimonious “teachable moment” bullshit. Unlike the “luminaries” of Hollywood, their Bollywood counterparts seem to understand that there’s nothing to gain by pissing-off a sizable portion of your audience. Hollywood used to appreciate this, as well.
One of the movie moguls admonished the actors under contract by telling them, “If you want to send a message, try Western Union.”
And with that, I’ve probably read entirely too much into the video as posted.
