Kid Rock Drops “We The People”

Dropped Yesterday, YouTube views? 369,000. Sentiments? Caustic.

We the people in all we do
Reserve the right to scream “Fuck you”
(Hey-yeah) ow
(Hey-yeah) huh
“Wear your mask, take your pills”
Now a whole generation’s mentally ill
(Hey-yeah) man, fuck Fauci
(Hey-yeah)

But COVID’s near, it’s coming to town
We gotta act quick, shut our borders down
Joe Biden does, the media embraces
Big Don does it and they call him racist

We the people (ooh, let’s go Brandon)
We the people (ooh, let’s go Brandon)
We the people (ooh, let’s go Brandon)
We the people

Fuck Facebook, fuck Twitter too
And the mainstream media, fuck you too, too, too
(Woo) yeah, you

We the people (ooh, yeah)
We the people

Inflation’s up, like the minimum wage
So it’s all the same, it ain’t a damn thing changed
(Hey-yeah
Hey-yeah)
You piece of shit, I don’t see color
“Black lives matter”, no shit motherfucker
(Hey-yeah
Hey-yeah)

But we gotta keep fighting for the right to be free
And every human being doesn’t have to agree
We all bleed red, brother, listen to me
It’s time for love and unity

We the people (ooh, let’s go Brandon)
We the people (ooh, let’s go Brandon)
We the people (ooh, let’s go Brandon)
We the people

Fuck CNN, fuck TMZ
And you social media trolls, y’all can suck on deez (deez)
Deez nuts, that’s what’s up

We the people (ha-ha)

If you down with love and wanna make things better
All we gotta do is just come together
Weather the storm, and take my hand
Then follow my lead to the promised land
‘Cause we the people, we gotta unite
To follow that good time guiding light
Climb aboard this love boat
And rock that bitch up and down the coast

In order to form a more perfect union
Do ordain and establish this constitution for the United States of America

We the people (ooh, let’s go Brandon)
We the people (ooh, let’s go Brandon)
We the people (ooh, let’s go Brandon)
We the people

Standing up, and standing tall
‘Cause it’s all for one and it’s one for all
All, all, all
We the people (ooh)
We the people

Let’s go Brandon
Let’s go Brandon
Let’s go Brandon
Let’s go Brandon

    I’m speechless.
But I know what my girlfriend would say, “How Rude!”

A classic. I have considered using that line many times, but prudence took hold.

        • azlibertarian January 26, 2022, 10:02 AM

          …[B]ut [P]rudence took hold.

Well, drop that bitch and go out and find another.

Sorry. It was a cheap internet line, but I couldn’t resist. I’ll go back to exhibiting my own prudence.

    Fuuuuhhhhk Yeah!

  • John G Condon January 25, 2022, 8:36 PM

Now here’s a guy that speaks my language.

    Team America! F**k yea!

  • Mike Austin January 26, 2022, 12:23 AM

Can you imagine such a catchy tune being played in 1920 USSR, 1935 Germany, 1965 Cuba, or anytime in North Korea or present day Iran? Whatever remains of classic American liberty still shines forth in songs like this—notwithstanding its vulgarity. Sometimes the proper and only response to a tyrant is not to debate him or to attempt to regale him with pithy quotes from Hobbes, but simply to tell him to “Fuck off.”

Remember the late great Andrew Breitbart’s line: “Fuck you. War.” Works for me.

    Up to 821k+ now.
I hate the coarsening of the language, but there’s a LOT of energy behind this sentiment I am betting a lot of people are quite willing to overlook it, all things considered.
By a lot of energy, I mean a metric ton of fury.

Sometimes hard coarse vulgar language is required to encapsulate a “metric ton of fury” The song speaks for me.

When push comes to shove, the barrel of a gun is the last word of diplomacy.

    • Mike Austin January 26, 2022, 7:38 AM

Very true: Behind every law, behind every diplomatic nicety, behind every treaty. behind every alliance, behind every international council, lies the barrel of a gun. It has been such since Sumer. The powerful will be heard. The weak will not be. Or in the words of Thucydides, “The strong do what they can and the weak suffer what they must”. Naturally such words are couched in splendid prose with all of the comfortable trappings and phrases that diplomacy can muster. But in the end, all know that words and treaties and promises are dust in the wind.

      Bayonets matter. Bayonets decide things.

In both vids, I hate those types. Being around them, inextricably and for eternity, is what I tend to think of when I consider what Hell will be like.

    • RedBeard January 26, 2022, 9:37 AM

Jack, spend one week in downtown L.A. or San Francisco– that will be the perfect illustration of what Hell is like.

  • James ONeil January 26, 2022, 7:54 AM

I like the guy, self taught musician, mouth like a buzzsaw, sez & does just cuz.

If you haven’t watched, laughed, cussed at and with po-dunk…

Never heard the song nor watched the video until now. Very entertaining. As ballsy and proud as it is, this was produced in 2017, I wonder how many of those folks are vaxxed and masked.

      • ghostsniper January 26, 2022, 8:22 AM

Unless they’re on the dole, none.

    • ghostsniper January 26, 2022, 8:21 AM

There’s a fair amount of that po’dunk around here in Bean Blossom. Drive back in some of these 2 lane dirt roads with blown out mobile homes all over the place, junk vehicles, animals running loose, no telling what you’ll find.

  • RedBeard January 26, 2022, 9:34 AM

    Well, hell yeah!
I just KNEW everyone here would love that song, and that it would be welcomed and appreciated here.
Maybe we should make it our new National Anthem?

    • Dirk January 26, 2022, 4:56 PM

RedBeard,,,,,, no we should NOT make a NEW national anthem. Understand your sentiment, just think it’s not in we the peoples best interests.
