Seems claymores on the vehicle might be the way to go…

A relative of mine was inside that armored vehicle. Spoke with him this morning. Expect tonight to be much, much worse.

  • MIKE GUENTHER August 24, 2020, 12:59 PM

That’s my Dad’s home town. Damn shame what they are doing to it. Hope they don’t make it to the Kenosha Yacht Club and destroy the plaque with my grandfather’s name on it as a charter member of the club.

Van der Leun, that top picture may be the funniest/saddest thing you’ve ever posted. Could even Robespierre have imagined this?

  • Vanderleun August 24, 2020, 1:38 PM

Robespierre didn’t even imagine that his jaw would be shot, bandaged up, and then he would be guillotined face up. So, no.

I was thinking about this today when I read Steve Sailers take at Unz.com and info about the riots at other sites. I had a friend who lived with his family in an apartment in Racine, WI back in the mid 1990s. Back then his part of town was the stereotypical “Ya Hey Dere, Oh Cri-Mo-Ny you betcha” Wisconsin town with a fish fry somewhere every Friday, Spaghetti dinners at the VFW, and by God, being Wisconsin, a tavern on damned near every corner.

Obviously K-town has “diversified”. It’s really sad to see this happening in a town I visited often.

    endtimes are upon us

    “tonight will be worse”
What the police should do is tell the residents that they cannot protect them from the mobs. Tell them to arm up and fight back. Tell them that it will be impossible afterwards to determine who shot who so there won’t be any investigations. It’s way past time for vigilantism. Time to make the omlet.

Coming soon to a city or town near you! Just like an old time Hollywood opening. Only with lots of dead people.

The governor just called out the National Guard: “Democratic Gov. Tony Evers said 125 members of the National Guard would be in Kenosha by night with responsibility for “guarding infrastructure and making sure our firefighters and others involved are protected.” County authorities also announced an 8 p.m. curfew.”

    https://www.military.com/daily-news/2020/08/24/national-guard-called-out-after-police-shoot-black-man-wisconisn.html

(The article itself is Associated Press librul boilerplate, but at least there’s a link.)

It’s obvious there’s something different about these rioters. They’re not genuine. They’re not really angry at the “system”. They’re just using it as an excuse. They’re gleeful as they smash things. It’s “Lord of the Flies” and it’s anarchists.
In the foolish 1960’s at least the hippies genuinely believed in what they were doing.

  • Gordon Scott August 24, 2020, 6:18 PM

125 National Guard is enough to defend a couple of buildings. It is not enough to stop a riot.

Evers is making the same mistakes Walz made in Minnesota. He’s being advised by people who think AOC is the future, and he’s trying to stop this on the cheap, and thus avoid offending the hard left.

The riots stopped in Minneapolis because there were ten thousand NG members in town, and because some of the more violent instigators decamped to Chicago, Denver and other places with fresh targets.

Those Black Looters and Murderers who broke into the library may have actually seen a book for the first time in their lives.

It seems to me that BLM, as an organization, is stoking these fires, doing its damndest to keep the rage going — all while profiteering off of the conflagration. Now, there’s got to be SOME sort of law against this kind of behavior by a nonprofit corporation, by which states or the federal government can start seizing bank accounts and intercepting donations to start paying for the damage done.

  • PA Cat August 24, 2020, 11:57 PM

Update for Gordon Scott, who noted, “125 National Guard is enough to defend a couple of buildings. It is not enough to stop a riot.”

Yep, more rioting Monday night: “Protesters for the second consecutive night wreaked havoc in Kenosha, Wisconsin . . . . In defiance of an 8 p.m. curfew, the crowd set ablaze a furniture store, a building that houses the Wisconsin Department of Corrections and cars at a local dealership, according to footage posted to social media.”

    No mention of the NG.

That hairbag walking around the police vehicle with the AR15, whether it was real or Airsoft, probably does not know how close he came to meeting Jesus.

  • Dan August 25, 2020, 6:23 AM

    Replying to Snakepit;
But he didn’t meet Jesus. That’s the problem. Feckless city councils and craven police command staff. They should’ve unleashed the dogs of war. Make these a**holes know fear.

  • James ONeil August 25, 2020, 10:17 AM

Frankly I’m quite glad I’m up here on top of the world looking down.
It’s possible that, within 10 miles of my place, there are maybe 4 or 5 houses without a firearm therein, but it’s highly improbable that there are more than that.

  • Casey Klahn August 26, 2020, 1:47 AM

I thought BLM in red was like the Passover blood/ turns out it aint

  • Steve in Greensboro August 26, 2020, 3:20 AM

Regarding Kenosha’s vibrancy, according to Wikipedia it only had 10% blacks in the 2010 census, but who knows how it has changed since then. My guess is that the Pantifa/BLM/DNC shock troops from out of town mobilize to where ever Twitter videos send them and initiate the rioting, and then the local vibrants commence kinetic activity.

Unitarians being an uniformly leftist denomination, the sight of the Unitarian sign on fire gave me a chuckle and recalled my Unitarian joke. Ready?

“Unitarians believe in at most one God.”

  • Rob De Witt August 26, 2020, 8:00 AM

    Steve,

How do Unitarians get rid of neighbors they don’t want?

They burn a big question mark on their lawn.
