In Memory Of W.B. Yeats
Intellectual disgrace
Stares from every human face,
And the seas of pity lie
Locked and frozen in each eye.
Follow, poet, follow right
To the bottom of the night,
With your unconstraining voice
Still persuade us to rejoice.
With the farming of a verse
Make a vineyard of the curse,
Sing of human unsuccess
In a rapture of distress.
In the deserts of the heart
Let the healing fountains start,
In the prison of his days
Teach the free man how to praise.

Sometimes it seems I had a dream, and, as a dreamer woke immersed in mineral baths closed within a cool, dark chamber fed by streams flowing in from the center of nowhere.
Hanging from the granite ceiling a kerosene lantern cast shards of light through the pale steam rising from the surface of the pools.
Ripples radiated outwards from the edges of my body and tapping faintly on the rock revealed the edges of the chamber.
Outside I could hear the wind slide across the spine of the mountains, speaking in a language that I remembered but could no longer understand.
Steam filled my nostrils and heat penetrated my bones until, after a time, I had no body, only a sense of silence and distance and calm.
As if I had just woken from all water into dream.

The People Yes
The steel mill sky is alive.
The fire breaks white and zigzag
shot on a gun-metal gloaming.
Man is a long time coming.
Man will yet win.
Brother may yet line up with brother:
This old anvil laughs at many broken hammers.
There are men who can’t be bought.
The fireborn are at home in fire.
The stars make no noise,
You can’t hinder the wind from blowing.
Time is a great teacher.
Who can live without hope?
In the darkness with a great bundle of grief
the people march.
In the night, and overhead a shovel of stars for keeps, the people
march:
“Where to? what next?”
— Carl Sandberg
Camouflage
Sourdough Mountain Lookout
Down valley a smoke haze
Three days heat, after five days rain
Pitch glows on the fir-cones
Across rocks and meadows
Swarms of new flies.
I cannot remember things I once read
A few friends, but they are in cities.
Drinking cold snow-water from a tin cup
Looking down for miles
Through high still air.

Chimes of Freedom
Starry-eyed an’ laughing as I recall when we were caught
Trapped by no track of hours for they hanged suspended
As we listened one last time an’ we watched with one last look
Spellbound an’ swallowed ’til the tolling ended
Tolling for the aching ones whose wounds cannot be nursed
For the countless confused, accused, misused, strung-out ones an’ worse
An’ for every hung-up person in the whole wide universe
An’ we gazed upon the chimes of freedom flashing

Byzantium
That is no country for old men. The young
In one another’s arms, birds in the trees
—Those dying generations—at their song,
The salmon-falls, the mackerel-crowded seas,
Fish, flesh, or fowl, commend all summer long
Whatever is begotten, born, and dies.
Caught in that sensual music all neglect
Monuments of unageing intellect.
An aged man is but a paltry thing,
A tattered coat upon a stick, unless
Soul clap its hands and sing, and louder sing
For every tatter in its mortal dress,
Nor is there singing school but studying
Monuments of its own magnificence;
And therefore I have sailed the seas and come
To the holy city of Byzantium.
O sages standing in God’s holy fire
As in the gold mosaic of a wall,
Come from the holy fire, perne in a gyre,
And be the singing-masters of my soul.
Consume my heart away; sick with desire
And fastened to a dying animal
It knows not what it is; and gather me
Into the artifice of eternity.
Once out of nature I shall never take
My bodily form from any natural thing,
But such a form as Grecian goldsmiths make
Of hammered gold and gold enamelling
To keep a drowsy Emperor awake;
Or set upon a golden bough to sing
To lords and ladies of Byzantium
Of what is past, or passing, or to come.

To the Stonecutters
Stone-cutters fighting time with marble, you foredefeated
Challengers of oblivion
Eat cynical earnings, knowing rock splits, records fall down,
The square-limbed Roman letters
Scale in the thaws, wear in the rain. The poet as well
Builds his monument mockingly;
For man will be blotted out, the blithe earth die, the brave sun
Die blind and blacken to the heart:
Yet stones have stood for a thousand years, and pained
thoughts found
The honey of peace in old poems.

Hilarious! The guy is new to me.
My favorite was video #3 – The Facts….”trust the science”, 6ft. safe – 5 ft danger, Grandma Killer, the fearful driver alone in the car (I have seen it multiple times!). God loves you, science doesn’t love you!
I thought he was very creative and I nearly fall off my chair with that one.
I hope this pisses off all the right people.
A year from now, the Covid numbers will be underground, and some will still insist you be vaccinated.
Will they check for vax when the kids go down to riot?
I hope it gives every Karen a stroke!
Here comes Karen now…

If she “knew” she would be punched in the face if she got up on that stage she would have kept her ass in the chair like a normal human being. The gall of these people. If I ever see a karen or ken in person the outcome will be unholy.
Just read how MerrickGarland, in DC, authorizes force counter-terrorism measures against parents who oppose CRT in schools, then I just read where some dude in TX says to the anti-CRT parents at the school board meeting (Texas) that he’s got 1,000 bruthas armed and ready to march in there and enforce CRT Marxism.
What would be wrong with getting in his face, at that moment, and going full Wyatt Earp on his ass?
I called for the disbanding of every school board who’ve governed through the pandemic. This is what happens when we don’t do that.
The Marxists are a hair-trigger from exploding.
Haven’t watched it yet. I remember him from 20+ years ago. He did a bit on drinking that is hilarious.
Just watched a couple of the vids. on youtube

Scary, depressing.
…I wanted to watch them, but apparently 3 out of 4 are already ‘cancelled’. (de-listed, or just removed?)
Only the 3rd is still viewable at this time. :-/
Seems things are getting worse by the minute.
And just as quickly as I commented – they’re back again. Hmmmm…
Good and maybe great routines. It seems he hasn’t been cancelled, yet. I’ll take that as a good sign.
I’ve been a big fan of Breuer since I first caught him on SNL with his Goat Boy bit. My wife hates that skit but I crack up every time I watch him. His explanation of how he ‘found’ Goat Boy is funny too.
At last a comedian who isn’t afraid to be offensive and funny! Where have they all been hiding? We need more like him and Dave Chapelle to open people’s eyes to this crazy brainwashing. Yesterday, I had an appointment with a neurologist and he actually praised masks. He acknowledged that jabbed people can still get covid and infect others, but felt masks and jabs were preventing this from happening more often. I have had it with the lies and the party line. I told him that I respectfully disagreed, as viruses are so microscopic, that they easily pass through everyone’s masks, even the ones we were wearing. Masks don’t protect us from covid and they promote bacterial growth, gum disease, and lung infection. He said that is why we need to wear good masks and that it is THE SCIENCE that proves that masks protect us. Oh, the Holy Grail! Science! He sounded like that song from my younger years “She blinded me with SCIENCE!” He made this pronouncement as if I was supposed to just accept that science is the ultimate truth of life; as if science is a religion.I told him that the problem with that is that there is good science and there is bad science, so he should be careful which science he followed and always critically review it. He later gave me a copy of his own recently published research on my possible condition, most likely to prove that he is in fact A SCIENTIST. He is considered one of the top neurologists in my area and is clearly brilliant in the area of neurology, but his research was very poorly written. The paper was filled with superlatives such as “exciting” and “amazing”. When you have to praise your own research in the actual written paper, then how great can it be? He proved that you can be both brilliant and stupid at the same time. Stay healthy, because sadly, the majority of our doctors and nurses still working have drunk the covid mantra kool-aid. They are true believers of that religion, freely wearing the religious garb and worshiping at its altar.
“Ridicule is man’s most potent weapon. There is no defense. It is almost impossible to counterattack ridicule. Also it infuriates the opposition, who then react to your advantage.” —Saul Alinsky
Watched. Like many of the folks commenting on youtube, I cringed rather than laughed, but for a different reason.
Problem is it’s not over the top parody, instead it’s a rather realistic presentation of what we, daily, hear and see from the mad mad ̶l̶e̶f̶t̶ ̶ wrong.
He reminds me of Bill Hicks and Sam Kinison.
Let’s hope he can avoid their sorry fates.
