Where the Sidewalk Ends
There is a place where the sidewalk ends
And before the street begins,
And there the grass grows soft and white,
And there the sun burns crimson bright,
And there the moon-bird rests from his flight
To cool in the peppermint wind.
Let us leave this place where the smoke blows black
And the dark street winds and bends.
Past the pits where the asphalt flowers grow
We shall walk with a walk that is measured and slow,
And watch where the chalk-white arrows go
To the place where the sidewalk ends.
Yes we’ll walk with a walk that is measured and slow,
And we’ll go where the chalk-white arrows go,
For the children, they mark, and the children, they know
The place where the sidewalk ends.

The People Yes
The steel mill sky is alive.
The fire breaks white and zigzag
shot on a gun-metal gloaming.
Man is a long time coming.
Man will yet win.
Brother may yet line up with brother:
This old anvil laughs at many broken hammers.
There are men who can’t be bought.
The fireborn are at home in fire.
The stars make no noise,
You can’t hinder the wind from blowing.
Time is a great teacher.
Who can live without hope?
In the darkness with a great bundle of grief
the people march.
In the night, and overhead a shovel of stars for keeps, the people
march:
“Where to? what next?”

That the great Republic of the United States of America will still be here after November?
It just might be possible.
Look, the dood wrote a book, “The Art of the Deal”.
Not, “Deal”.
But, “The Art of the”.
Anybody can make a deal with anybody else as long as the everybody else is an idiot.
Most people ain’t idiots and are wary.
That’s where “The Art” part comes in.
Most people don’t know much about “The Art”.
Most people are wary of “Deals” because they are inexperienced or have been burned by shysters.
The “Art” part of the “Deal” is where all participants believe they have won.
That means rethinking the meaning of the word “compromise”.
It doesn’t mean losing.
It means winning but on adjusted terms.
In the past Gerard made a post titles “Just Enough” and that’s what’s being said here.
You don’t get everything you want out of any given deal, but just enough, to make it your worthwhile.
It’s up to you what just enough means.
Above, all the people Trump made deals with believed they got just enough.
Communists don’t want just enough, they want it all, and you don’t matter.
As it plays out, they will get nothing.
Or, something they hadn’t planned for.
After being lectured for 8 long years by Jug Ears Barack the Magic Negro how bad America was, how unjust America was, how we as Americans did not deserve a high standard of living or jobs. America’s days of greatness were over and we had better get used to it. Mr. I,Me,My told us in every single lecture. I felt hate from that president. Hate down to the core of my being. Then comes candidate Trump who tells us how much he loves us. How America has been cheated by the demorats and he wants us to be great again because he knows America is the most special place in the world. His speeches are always about Americans and how good people are. You rarely hear I, Me or My in his speeches. This why people flock to a leader who loves his country. President Trump’s actions and words match.
Does anyone know what the backing soundtrack music is from?
The Trump campaign should run this on TV.
I lost the sound in that vid but I’ll nod along with KC. Very good points and I hate that bastard, too. He, like his father I would wager, is beyond any redemption.
If the Globalist Left could back off on the fomenting a race war and flooding us with immigrants we could probably get something done in the US. But then again, that’s the point, isn’t it.
Finally hit me; the music is from X-Men: First Class. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VWffS74aXBU
