Ringo was always such a good sport. I like that the remaining Beatles haven’t demanded their music be removed from every platform that, at the same time, would support Joe Rogan’s “misinformation” campaign. I remember when Neil Young used to sing “four dead in Ohio” and was totally distrustful of the man. Now Neil is on his knees and obeys the man shamelessly.

I have some personal animosity against Neil Young. I am having no small schadenfreude at his downfall.

In my carefully considered musical opinion, Neil Young is and has always been a whiny punk. The absolute pinnacle of his artistic creativity was perfectly characterized by Christopher Guest 40 years ago:
At one of those portentous aid thingee recording sessions, David Foster had the temerity to tell Neil that he sang flat, to which Neil replied, “That’s my style, man”.
Neil wasn’t having any of that pitch-shaming!
