And yes I am aware of the irony of the previous post.

Let us leave the Nazis dead and buried. This is Stasi time, and this is our era.

  • Kevin in PA November 21, 2020, 1:42 PM

Yeah, I saw this the other day and thought, Wow, the tone of the jack-boot with zee gunz pounding on zee door was remarkable….hysterical….over someone broadcasting an opposing narrative…..wow!

We are there, folks…..oh wait, that was in Germany.
No worries. Whew…We live in a free country. That can’t happen here.

  • Jahaziel Maqqebet November 21, 2020, 2:07 PM

How do you know this is not a put up?

  • Vanderleun November 21, 2020, 2:47 PM

Why would you think (or suggest) that it is, oh drive=by, never=before=seen commenter?

  • OneGuy November 21, 2020, 2:57 PM

It makes perfect sense to the leaders and elite. If you don’t think like them then you need to be sent to a re-education camp. The videos in California months ago and the ones in Australia weeks ago where a dozen police wrestle a man or woman to the ground and haul them off to jail because they aren’t wearing a mask is beyond stupid. Expect to see this for people who don’t agree with turning little girls into boys or tans or whatever they are calling them.

Just a shout out to the police; don’t do this. Don’t let yourselves be used by stupid politicians who want to abuse their constituents. Every time a video like this goes public people lose faith in the police.

The number of Gestapo: At its peak it employed only about 40,000 individuals, including office personnel and the plain-clothes agents. It is estimated they also employed 160,000 agents and informers
Population of Germany in 1939: 87 million. Disarmed.
I tend to agree, more like Stasi time with tools they only dreamed of having.
Angela Merkel in 1968 joined the Free German Youth (FDJ), the official communist youth movement sponsored by the ruling Marxist–Leninist Socialist Unity Party of Germany.
    I need say no more.
    Look to your arms.

  • Glenfilthie November 21, 2020, 4:52 PM

    Yeah well… fuck ‘em.

My grandfather fought two world wars Over There because of those assholes, and came here to get away from them. Screw Britain and Fwance too, you bungholes could have done something about those apes centuries ago, and you always leave the job half done. The Africans can have Europe and the krauts with my compliments.

I was in a hotel bar in Mexico a couple of weeks ago. I wound up talking to an Australian guy, age about 70. We talked about Covid, and I said I never thought I would see Aussie police dragging a woman off the street for the *crime* of not wearing a mask.

The guy got into this quiet riff about how Covid was very bad and whatever the government did was okay by him. I could not believe what I was hearing. I had hopes that among the former Brit dominions, Australia might hold on to some semblance of a set of balls.

  • Casey Klahn November 21, 2020, 8:30 PM

Gordon Scott, my compliments. Take heart. About 3 years ago I was drinking with a Brit couple that I met in a NYC bar, and they were not against Trump. The world knows what’s up here and many support us.

On the shit-end of the stick, we are back to Level 1, supposedly, all over Washington state. I went to Best Buy and a few other stores, and yes paper products are scarce again. But this just in: we were in Costco, and the fukn staff were on me on every aisle to get my mask (an army OG get-there cravat). This, during a time of supposed increase in cases, while a complete obliteration of the flu has been reported (90% fewer flu cases this year. Think about that a second. Yeah, it bites.), and almost no one is dying from Covid. The cashier and bagger asked me if I had found everything alright, and I told them to tell the manager that I was very unhappy with their mask policy. The response was to the tune of “ohhkayyyy.., ” as if to say it’s not us it’s the governor. See how tyranny rolls? You cannot yank up the chain because…orders.

Maybe I can wipe my ass with policy going forward.

  • Cynyr November 21, 2020, 8:33 PM

Chilling. Col Cooper sez anybody with a mask and a gun is a target. Or words to that effect. After all, ANYBODY can yell “Police!” while they invade your home.

  • Gordon Scott November 22, 2020, 5:08 AM

Cynyr, we’ve had the mask and gun thing for four decades. See: SWAT, originally, and now every podunk police raid.

Casey, I’m pretty skeptical about masks. And all of the virologists used to be, in terms of the general population. But I wear one, because my job has me in stores all day long. I see people being rude to the poor damn retail workers who ask nicely. The ones who, unlike those who write the rules, don’t have an uninterrupted paycheck.

I was in a CVS Saturday and the manager walked in behind me. His closest store just had a pharmacy tech test positive, and the pharmacist must now isolate as well. But the other pharmacist is on vacation. The store will be closed so a special team can come in and spray and light and whatever. Talk about exhausted nurses? There’s a lot of retail workers who are worn out, especially managers who aren’t getting any sweet overtime for the shifts they have to cover.

Then I’m talking to a cop in Walmart a few hours later. A woman comes in, masked. First thing she tells us is that she just tested positive. Can we go find her husband Marlyn? He works in the milk department. The cop is mildly horrified that she’s walked 50 feet inside the store. But she tells us she tried to call for 30 minutes and no one picked up. I go find Marlyn and tell him his wife is out front.

There’s a bakery/restaurant run by a Frenchman named Patrick. The food is very good, and reasonably priced. They did this lath and heavy plastic enclosure of the sidewalk area in front, and installed a powerful propane heater. It works great, and gave them back a lot of tables. I ate lunch there on Friday with a friend, because Kaiser Tim Walz decreed no more indoor dining for a month, probably more, and Friday was the last day we could.

I told the cashier that I wanted to order their Thanksgiving dinner package, a fricking bargain at $99. But it only includes white meat turkey. The cashier said no dark meat was available. But then Patrick came out and told me we could just order off the menu instead. I thought, hmm. My wife might just go for the mustard encrusted rack of lamb, with the package sides. Apparently people order the rack cooked past rare, but my wife is not so foolish.

I’m in the ‘at-risk’ population, age and health problems, and I may have put on a mask myself out of caution; but I never asked anyone else to do so and I never suggested that it was a good idea or necessary for young, healthy people to be forced to wear masks.
Between this the total lack of support for President Trump in his battle to overcome the theft of this election, I’ve voted for my last Republican politician. As the Whigs had to go in the 19th Century, the Republicans need to go in the 21st.

This afternoon I’m going to the required gun safety class as part of the process of getting a permit to carry. Got the feeling I’m going to need it.

  • Anne November 22, 2020, 6:54 AM

    John the River:
FYI: The problem with the Republican party is simple. Republicans do not have an army of trained community organizers that they move from one state to the next as needed. As a result of no formal education in the art of community organizing white people do not “march”, or “demonstrate”, or show up in public en masse. That’s how we lost this election–our own failure to show up in organized demonstrations. Oh here and there maybe a few small ones, but nothing like the machine the Demo/nazis have created!

While heading out to Australia one year, we were waiting at a bar in the new LAX International section.
Started a conversation with a nice looking young man. Dressed in classic chic. Asked where he was going and his response was: “back home to Australia.” When asked why he had come to the US, his response was: “I have been through a two week training program. I am going back home as a counselor to help the private schools accept instruction in homosexuality in their schools. I’ll have to twist some arms, but we have to get them to accept . . .” It was then I noticed he was gay. He was being paid by a LGBT group here in the states to force private Australian schools into accepting homosexuality.
On another occasion in Australia we began chatting with a nicely dressed older man (early 50’s). He had also been to the States for similar training. He was a ramped up liberal such as we meet everyday here in the US. No school in his Australian territory was going to get away with ignoring the mandate to accept homosexuality! He was not gay, but he had lost his mid management job and been out of work for two years before being offered the opportunity to go to the states for training and then coming home with a paycheck for forcing private schools to “re-consider”.

In the midst of last year’s fire season in Australia an older Australian woman came forward to take control of a meeting about the cause. She proudly announced she had been trained by a Chicago based “consulting” group, and would not let this community conversation wonder off in directions that would not be tolerated.

It’s been proven that the majority of masks are completely ineffective, so I view wearing one as a sign of submission to a whiny, paranoid, overbearing bunch of uninformed Commie-tards. For the establishments that DEMAND I wear one, I would just put a bandana over my face to shut them up.

Nowadays, I wear a black ski mask (with only eye holes) and dark sunglasses to cover my eyes. NOT as a preventive apparatus- it’s a big visual “F.U.” to the whiners and “Karens,” and I have to admit to enjoying the looks of uncertainty and fear that it generates among “some types of people.” Combine that with the fact I’m 6’4″ and 215 lbs, it’s very visually effective.

Besides, when not worn as a ski mask, it rolls up into a “watch cap” or “toboggan hat” as we called them when I was a kid.

the country is long-time led by an East German apparatchik.

  • James ONeil November 22, 2020, 10:48 AM

I hate to say this but it’s time.
    No more talk.
    Not one more inch.

  • Terry November 22, 2020, 11:26 AM

@ EX-Cali- I have an identical “mask” setup, but cannot find the blackout bubble eye glasses that I have somewhere yet. Scary looking, but effective in the way I want the effect. I am also old, in excellent physical condition, pack and in no mood for absorbing imbecile individuals.

    MAGA

  • Gordon Scott November 22, 2020, 11:33 AM

Anne, the Republicans used to have that cadre of organizers. They were housewives like my mom, who organized many a campaign, and never received a cent. These women could stand toe to toe with governors and senators and argue policy, and they were respected, because if you didn’t your political career ended soon after.

  • Casey Klahn November 22, 2020, 10:21 PM

OMFG. There isn’t any GD Covid. The death rate fell through the floor!
Someone got covid, someone had to quarantine. Get a clue, people. Who cares if masks work? We’ve heard both sides of that and I damn sure know they ain’t magical. They do something – okay fine. If that something is protection from Covid, so fukn what? The death rate is infinitesimal.
I worked retail almost half my life, and I took shit almost constantly for things both large and small. I’m afraid my regard for worn-out retail employees is a bit underwhelmed. They didn’t start the covid, and they damn sure shouldn’t be deputized to prevent it. Damn the governor for putting them in that spot, but double-damn me if I take that horseshit like a cuckold. No sir.
James has it right. Talk is useless and the die have been rolled. A stolen election. A fake epidemic. A gambit for communist take-over in play.

No one tests positive for sars cov 2. People test positive for remnants of RNA amplified to and recombined into DNA. Even Fauci has clarified that PCR tests are meaningless above 25 amplifications. The FDA recommend up to 40. Don’t fall for the fear bullshit. “Then I’m talking to a cop in Walmart a few hours later. A woman comes in, masked. First thing she tells us is that she just tested positive. Can we go find her husband Marlyn? He works in the milk department.
