DAVE PORTNOY speaks for all Americans. It’s time to start to burn the rats out of the nation.
“Exterminator. You got rats. Rats.”
And this is not a metaphor. Governors.

Where the Sidewalk Ends
There is a place where the sidewalk ends
And before the street begins,
And there the grass grows soft and white,
And there the sun burns crimson bright,
And there the moon-bird rests from his flight
To cool in the peppermint wind.
Let us leave this place where the smoke blows black
And the dark street winds and bends.
Past the pits where the asphalt flowers grow
We shall walk with a walk that is measured and slow,
And watch where the chalk-white arrows go
To the place where the sidewalk ends.
Yes we’ll walk with a walk that is measured and slow,
And we’ll go where the chalk-white arrows go,
For the children, they mark, and the children, they know
The place where the sidewalk ends.

The People Yes
The steel mill sky is alive.
The fire breaks white and zigzag
shot on a gun-metal gloaming.
Man is a long time coming.
Man will yet win.
Brother may yet line up with brother:
This old anvil laughs at many broken hammers.
There are men who can’t be bought.
The fireborn are at home in fire.
The stars make no noise,
You can’t hinder the wind from blowing.
Time is a great teacher.
Who can live without hope?
In the darkness with a great bundle of grief
the people march.
In the night, and overhead a shovel of stars for keeps, the people
march:
“Where to? what next?”

The governor of Indiana was on TV telling everybody to maintain 6′ intervals and wear masks and gloves and 2 hours later he was captured on video in a restaurant doing none of that.
There is only 1 cure for the disease that inflicts that governor but unfortunately it is more dangerous (for him) than the disease. It involves a high speed truck with a frame mounted trailer hitch and a 20′ length of 1″ hemp rope.

We are here.
According to Dave Portnoy’s rant, Fauci testified: “if we reopen the country too quick, everyone’s dead.” That’s dramatic (and it is a rant, after all), but what Fauci actually said was a lot more restrained:
“My concern that if some areas — cities, states or what have you — jump over those various checkpoints and prematurely open up, without having the capability of being able to respond effectively and efficiently, my concern is we will start to see little spikes that might turn into outbreaks.”
“There is a real risk that you will trigger an outbreak that you may not be able to control, which in fact, paradoxically, will set you back, not only leading to some suffering and death that could be avoided but could even set you back on the road to try to get economic recovery,”

You must be a Fauci fan. Best that you do a thorough research of Fauci before quoting the bastard and attempting to spread cake frosting on a turd.
What do I need to research? I’m merely pointing out that the rant that supposedly “speaks for all Americans” is – not to be coy about it – an outright lie. It’s attacking Fauci for something he didn’t say. Calling him a bastard isn’t a response, it’s a tantrum.
Loved this rant, and when a guy like him has had enough, I would bet the majority of Americans (or close to it) is there as well.
