Elon Musk actually owns a fleet of fully-functioning, repeat launching, tail-landing rocket ships!

And what really takes your breath away is when you hear the entirely offhand tone of the narrator, as in “Ho hum another day at the spaceport.” It’s like a job report from an alternate Earth.

I’m sorry, but Musk has run the table. Other “wannabe rocketeers” can just sit. down.

Just you wait until he’s got a few small asteroids handy in orbit and hooked up to his cryptographic dead man’s handle. Sovereign is he who decides the Exception.

That Musk fellow sure has some pretty cool toys.

Especially when you consider that Musk/SpaceX (they’re indivisible) has landed 111 boosters (I think), for a minuscule fraction of the money NASA has spent since it’s inception. A few Billions vs./ several trillions. AAnd no, it was not a subsidy. It was payment for services delivered more cheaply ($/Kg to orbit) than anyone else could.
NASA Booster Landings = 0 (Zero)
    SpaceX Booster Landings = 111

What really blows my mind, is how it’s done all on electric power!

/kidding. A doff of the hat to spaceman Musk. He’s already blown the lid off of Twitter, no matter what happens there going forward. He is, dare I say, Trumpian in his character – he likes to upset.

I’m still looking for investors for my conversion of Teslas to gasoline engines business.

Casey, Brilliant! Electric to gas! Who new.

Casey where do I send my valuable baseball card collection. I want in on the action.

Cool, I might be able to help.
I know a dood that is working on a machine that will convert electricity to gas for about 25 cents a gallon but he needs access to a lot of high torque electric motors.

Dirk and Ghost, I know right? I don’t have a name for it…GasLa? Anyway, the tag line will be: There. I fixed it.

I wish my Dad was alive to see this.
