Drive-by History by Mike Austin

In a comment to Obese Drag Queen in Ballsgown Proclaimed “Fairest of them All!” Mike Austin takes up the challenge issued by Lance de Boyle to elucidate on:

  • Rise of Hitler
  • Demise of Ian Smith and rise of Mugabe
  • Rise of Chavez in Venezuela
  • Rise of Pinochet
  • Rise of Franco
  • Germanic warriors take Rome.
  • Overthrow of Ceausescu.

The de Boyle asked, ”What factors led to a particular “revolutionary event”— the outcome? I’m thinking. . . .”

  • Extent of depravity in culture.
  • Softness of men
  • Opposition of traditionalists/reactionaries
  • Economic weakness–inflation, shortages.
  • Violence of ruling class to control opposition ideas and groups
  • Illegitimacy of current rule.
  • Weakness in ruling elite. (how so?)
  • Weapons in the hands of traditionalists.

Maybe chance is a big factor. “They killed the wrong guy.” “We had a conservative general waiting in the wings.” I no longer care much about day to day abuses and usupations. I’m interested in the end game and the next stage.”

Mike Austin:
Quite a list! To respond properly would take many hours and many words—too many hours, too many words. It would strain a normal man’s ability to concentrate for an extended amount of time. I should add that such a skill can be learned, but one must have the desire to learn it—like any other skill. In my 69 years, I have met few who have an interest in such things.

Normal men are beset on all sides with interruptions, busyness, children, nagging wives, mortgages, multiple responsibilities, financial issues, and on and on. But by my own definition, I am not a normal man. I will answer your queries in “short form”—let’s call them “drive-by answers”. Some of my answers will certainly ruffle the feathers of many, something I am very good at — a lifetime of practice and all that. Too bad, so sad. So…

1. Hitler is everyone’s bête noire, the worst person in History, a monster of monsters, Satan himself. You get the idea. But—surprise, surprise—there is nothing about him or his actions that had not been done for 2000 years by the Germanic peoples.

Burning people to death, conquering Western Europe, slapping around the French, annoying the Russians, militarism, delusions of world conquest, invading Austria, chopping up Poland, and so on. Even the Holocaust was nothing more than what Protestant founder—and German—Martin Luther recommended be done to the Chosen 400 years before. His “On the Jews and Their Lies” (1543) has this charming nugget from chapter 11:

“What shall we Christians do with this rejected and condemned people, the Jews? Since they live among us, we dare not tolerate their conduct, now that we are aware of their lying and reviling and blaspheming. If we do, we become sharers in their lies, cursing and blasphemy. Thus we cannot extinguish the unquenchable fire of divine wrath, of which the prophets speak, nor can we convert the Jews. With prayer and the fear of God we must practice a sharp mercy to see whether we might save at least a few from the glowing flames. We dare not avenge ourselves. Vengeance a thousand times worse than we could wish them already has them by the throat. I shall give you my sincere advice:
First, to set fire to their synagogues or schools and to bury and cover with dirt whatever will not burn, so that no man will ever again see a stone or cinder of them. This is to be done in honor of our Lord and of Christendom, so that God might see that we are Christians, and do not condone or knowingly tolerate such public lying, cursing, and blaspheming of his Son and of his Christians.”

(Luther did not just hate Jews, he had an astoundingly filthy mouth—his favorite word was “shit”—he was overly concerned with feces—not always his own—and recommended that if a man sins, he must “sin boldly”. No thanks, Marty. I’ll pass.)

Hitler was neither unique nor a revolutionary; he was Germanic. Even his reputation as a mass murderer is wildly overblown. So who then takes that prize? It is Tamerlane (1336 – 1405). He killed 5 percent of the world’s population. Hitler only managed 2 percent, the piker. What a loser. Then why do people use him as the supreme—and only—example of a real bad boy? Take a guess. I know but I ain’t saying. Do your own homework.

2. Ian Smith lost Rhodesia because of sanctions placed on his nation by the US, England, and the UN. The same sort of Globalists who destroyed Rhodesia are using similar tactics to try and destroy Russia, China, and Iran—and anybody who does not agree to US hegemony. Think Athens before the Peloponnesian War (431 – 404 BC). Who won that war? Hint: it was the greatest land power of its age. Who is that today?

3. Chavez was a typical Latin American leader. Nothing new here. Latin Americans since independence from Spain (1810 – 1824) have put in power an entire host of illiterates, mountebanks, buffoons, fools, jackasses, tyrants, and so on. Even the much admired and ballyhooed Simón Bolívar wrote that his favorite habits were dancing and masturbation. “Masturbating Dancers” fairly well sums up any History of Latin American leaders. Latin politics is the politics of the mass, not of the individual. The usual method of obtaining power is the coup, corrupt elections, and assassinations—rather like the US these days.

4. Pinochet was one of the very few Latins who actually did positive things for the nation. He tossed leftists out of helicopters, which was pretty cool. Say, I wonder how many of our own leftists would fit in a Chinook? Asking for a friend.

5. Franco in the Spanish Civil War (1936 – 1939) could have won that war in 6 months. He drew it out so that he could kill as many leftists as possible. He gave Spain 40 years of peace because those who would disturb it were dead. Putin is doing the same, dragging out the Ukraine War to lure in Russia’s NATO enemies, thus the easier to destroy them. There are now yet living 100,000 Americans and Europeans who will within the year find their end in the mud of Ukraine. Incidentally, Ukraine has been the “dancing floor of war” for 2500 years. It is the bloodiest piece of real estate on the planet. Those who were surprised and shocked by this latest unpleasantness are innocent of History.

6. The Germans began their assault on the Roman Empire in 105 BC. There was scarcely any Roman leader who did not make war upon these brutes. But by 476 AD the Germanic conquest of Europe and northern Africa was finished. The Western Empire was now controlled by a variety of Germanic tribes: Ostrogoths, Visigoths, Vandals, Franks, and so on. The Lombards, Saxons, Angles, Burgundians, Vikings, and Normans were all Germanic peoples.

7. The overthrow of Ceausescu was more of a “golpe de pistola” than a revolution.

8. True revolutions are rare. But then historians hardly agree on what a “true revolution” is. A comparative study of the French (1789) and Russian (1917) revolutions will be of little help, as most conclusions reached will be contradictory. But one thing seems clear: revolutions are usually a waste of time, of money, of energy and of blood. The elimination of one ruling class only ushers in another ruling class, usually more extractive than the former. Kill a Louis, get a Napoleon. Kill a Nicholas, get a Lenin. Kill a Batista, get a Castro. Kill a shah, get a Khomeini. Kill a Gracchus, get a Marius and Sulla and Caesar. The silliest phrases in History are “¡Viva la revolución!” and “Power to the people!” “Kill all commies!” makes much more sense.

9. The idea that depravity can destroy a nation is a relatively new one, though it appears in the Bible time and time again but seldom alone. It can be among a number of factors, but in and of itself is neither necessary nor sufficient. Those who claim otherwise never—but never—give any sort of schedule of the length of time needed for, say, wide-spread sodomy to destroy a people and their government. We have no idea how long Sodom and Gomorrah existed in their depravity before God put them out of business. Many claim that sexual degeneracy led to the fall of Weimar to the Nazis, forgetting that many in the Nazi ruling elite were sodomites themselves, Hitler included. Indeed, Frederick the Great (1712 – 1786) of Prussia—later Germany—a captain admired by Napoleon, was homosexual.

10. The “softness of men” is a historical fact seldom investigated by historians, but we see it all the time. This softness is not just physical but intellectual and moral. It is generally a result of warfare where the bravest and the brightest and the most daring get killed, leaving behind the timid and the weak, and the merely clever to survive and multiply their kind—a dysgenic process seen throughout History. We see it most clearly in the effects of World War I upon Europe. This is the real reason Europeans are worthless and bovine today, easily led, easily cowed, and easily indoctrinated. Their best and brightest lay “in Flanders’ fields”.

11. The definitions of “traditionalists” and “reactionaries” change according to the diktats of those in power. I can be one; I can be the other; I can be both.

12. Economic issues alone do not bring down ruling elites, because…

13. …these guys will use all matter of violence to maintain control. But this depends upon the will. If the elites have not the will to use violence, they will lose their heads—literally. Ask Louis XVI. Do our own elites in Washington have such a will? Nope. And after they are occupied with their desired world war, they will lose interest in a civil war. But we will not.

14. The “illegitimacy” of a ruling class does not bring down nations. Most dynasties in History were once illegitimate until they came to power. Had William the Conqueror lost at Hastings (1066) he would have been remembered—if at all—as William the Loser. There would have been no Norman rule over England. He who sits on the throne is legitimate. If you do not agree, then you will be dealt with. Disagree in public—and more and more in private—about the legitimacy of the Biden regime for example, and you will get a no-knock by a three-letter.

15. As for “weapons in the hands of traditionalists”: No ruling class has ever been overthrown by flowers, poets, or pundits. They were overthrown by violence, by “blood and iron”. Our own elites and the globalists completely understand this. Those 150,000,000 Americans with guns are the only thing standing between them and their dreams of global dominance. How to disarm these 150,000,000 is a tricky issue but must be done. This is why the coming global war will be violent in the extreme.

16. As for the vagaries of chance and luck: These are all “Black Swans”, unknown unknowns, X-factors. They cannot be planned for or even assumed. The Greeks called such things a “deus ex machina”; the Romans worshipped the god of Fortune.

17. It is well and good and healthy to “no longer care much about day-to-day abuses and usurpations”. As this point in the game of History and life worrying and caring about this, about that and about the other is an utter waste of time and energy. Don’t concern yourself about things beyond your control.
There is not one thing in my life that depends upon the whims, depredations and depravity of the ruling elites in Washington and Davos. No matter their thoughts and desires for the masses I will ride my bicycles, buy more guns, read what I please, write what I want and let my thoughts run wild. They can all go have sex with themselves—which they already do. Think Klaus Schwab and his well-sodomized catamite Yuval Harari. But don’t think about it for too long.

Carpe diem.

Revolution is a dialectical process of destruction and creation. In the US revolution is intimately bound to the process of defeating imperialism around the world. Any conception of socialism defined in national terms, within so extreme and predatory an oppressor nation as the US, is a view that leads in practice to a fight for particular privileged interest and is a very dangerous ideology. Any combat against enemies is the only solution for socialist revolution in the oppressor nation.

Socialsim is the total opposite of capitalism/imperialism. It is the rejection of empire and white supremacy. Socialism is the violent overthrow of the bourgeoisie, the establishment of the dictatorship of the proletariat, and the eradication of the social system based on profit. Socialism means control of the productive forces for the good of the whole community instead of the few who live on hilltops and mansions. Socialism means priorities based on human need instead of corporate greed. Socialism creates the conditions for a decent and creative quality of life for all.

This is a little known fact, Mike, but Martin Luther was so obsessed with shit, he once nailed 95 of his own feces to a church door.

Always enjoy your posts Mike but this is an abbreviated history lesson that was, should I say, your finest. As for the here and now I find the sodomite Schwab to be much like a cartoon character though very evil and scary in his own way. Biden is a useful idiot, nothing more. I have no doubt that they both mean what they say and only time will tell if they and the “elites” will win out. I am 62 years old and though slower and a bit weaker I am no “soft man” and proudly am one of those 150-million-gun owners. My grandkids deserve a much better life than what these filths have in store for them, and I am intent on living my life as best I can and am trying to leave them something they find worth in preserving. I am waiting for when the call comes. Thanks again to both you and Gerard.

    • Mike Austin November 17, 2022, 6:26 AM

“I find the sodomite Schwab to be much like a cartoon character though very evil and scary in his own way.” He is so cartoonish that he could have been a Bond villain from central casting. And look at that ridiculous uniform that he wears almost constantly. It lacks only a mask and cape. There is more: The man is ferociously, astoundingly, ugly. Think about his life growing up and how—almost without a doubt—girls and women spurned his advances and made fun of his appearance behind his back. His “World Economic Forum” is really Schwab’s revenge upon all mankind, where he can punish the world that punished him. His obvious homosexuality is his way of getting revenge upon the God who so haphazardly created him.

“Biden is a useful idiot, nothing more.” Just so. But then, who pulls the strings of this deranged Lamb Chop? We have a number of possibilities, all of whom daily struggle for power and influence. The White House itself is fairly useless on the international stage. On the domestic front it has the FBI, which is really just the enforcement arm of the Democrat Party. When you think FBI, think KGB. When you think Christopher Wray, think Lavrenty Beria.

The State Department is controlled by the Nuland – Kagan junta, all of whom are neo-cons, warmongers and visceral Russia haters. The Pentagon acts a bit confused, at times acting “like a duck hit on the head”. It goes along with the neo-cons one day then acts behind their back the next. It is impossible to say who is in charge. Milley is a mere paper-pusher and Austin is obviously sub-IQ. Both are in dire need of a diet. Behind them are groups of colonels anxious to get their own hands on power.

The CIA is truly rogue, and acts in its own interests—whatever the Hell those are. It usually, but not always, goes along with the wishes of State. Some groups in that agency are truly loose cannons and follow the sound of gunfire, each man imagining himself as a modern-day Lawrence of Arabia. These spooks have done some interesting things in Ukraine, in Russia, in Iran, in Syria and most recently in Turkey. They are masters of the “anonymous” bomb.

The US regime operates hand-in-hand internationally with the globalists in the UK, though Washington holds the whip-hand.

What is really going on is a civil war in Washington DC. Pass the popcorn. Orville Redenbacher if you have it.

    Masterful.

Slight quibble about Franco taking his time — it was a pretty hard slog and the other side had the kickoff advantage. But slow and steady wins the race.

The broader question as Mike Austin knows is what is so wrong with the warp and weft of Western Civ (if not Mankind) if a Franco, Salazar, or Pinochet can barely reverse course and only hold back the tide of filth and depravity and entropy for 3-4 decades at most?

Sod it… I’m going to be riding my bike more, too.

Something occurred to me when re-thinking the result of the slaughter in the trenches in World War I: the slaughter in our own Civil War. The Union had 22 million men, the South 5 million. The South lost a far greater percentage of men than did the North, and these men were the best of the best that the South could present. This is the real reason the South took more than 100 years to recover. Her most daring and courageous lay in the dirt of Vicksburg, of Gettysburg, of Antietam, of Cold Harbor. They are there still.

      • Jack November 18, 2022, 9:24 AM

I have Southern roots that are far deeper than most and I agree with your comment, particularly regarding recovery time. The Deep South is a beautiful place but Southern whites, especially women, proudly give gracious way to the negro at every footfall acting as if these cretins are the be-all-end-all for society.

What I am really saying is that the South recovered to serve the negro and not for any other reason and I believe that was part of the political plan.

        • Mike Austin November 18, 2022, 9:41 AM

My roots are Southern as well on my mother’s side. Fought with Marse Robert almost until Appomattox.

Sherman told Lincoln that if he killed 200,000 Southern men, the war would be over. He did and it was.

What happened to the South is similar to what happened to Poland in the Katyn Forest. Same result.

Most of the world’s problems and the demise of countries and rise of tyrannies is due to one thing “The Only Thing Necessary for the Triumph of Evil is that Good Men Do Nothing”. In all of the cases cited even going back to Rome there is one defining commonality and that is this: Before the final act and early in the process the bad actors were identified or identified themselves by their acts. But good men failed to seek them out and strangle them. Simple as that.

Imagine our history if in 1936 some random man had looked for Hitler one dark night and shot him in the head. Multiply that by all of the examples already given of failed countries and overthrown or stolen governments and world history would be much sweeter today. Fast forward to today, because of arrogance and overconfidence you could easily list every politician whose actions and words define them as anti-American, i.e. would rather continue to profit by selling America’s interests to China rather than Make America Great Again.

We know who in our government should be thrown out a window BUT no good men are willing, yet, to do so. The classic problem is like the boiling of the frog, i.e the water is getting hotter, and we can see what is happening BUT it’s not yet time to take drastic action. And that is where we are today. We know who the bad guys are on both sides but good men are unwilling to follow Franco’s lead.

    • Mike Austin November 17, 2022, 7:25 AM

Assassination is a method of choosing leaders if no other way is permitted. This was the Roman way of “electoral” politics. Of the first 12 Caesars, 9 died “unnatural” deaths: swords, pillows, mushrooms, poison, forced suicides—all were tools of the assassin’s trade. It is unnerving to think that one lone man with a gun can control the destiny of the entire world.

We can speculate what the world would be like if Hitler fell to a killer in 1936. The world of course might be worse off—such an outcome is always a possibility. Brutus and Cassius thought that by killing Caesar, they were saving the Republic. In fact, they destroyed it.

      • Snakepit Kansas November 17, 2022, 11:11 AM

Getting rid of a leader creates a vacuum. Let’s get rid of Saddam Hussein, YEAH!!! What could go wrong? Well we found out that many populations are animals with little regard for human life, hence a leader like Saddam is required to keep them in line.

Good thing your take on Iraq is about 80% accurate, Snakepit, or I would be obliged to accuse you of invidious stereotyping

And the reason I say 80% is because, if anything, you are being too kind to the most benighted place on the planet. Thats why the post war occupation fell apart. We thought that, because we succeeded in transforming what appeared to be a totally berserk nation like Japan, we could do the same with Iraq

But Japan was an orderly culture that went off the rails. Iraq didnt go off the rails; there were no rails to begin with. It had been a post apocalyptic lunatic asylum for 600 years .. ever since Tamerlame Farooqed it up in the 15th century

    Hitler was homosexual?

I’ve read at least seven biographies of Hitler and countless other biographies and histories in which Hitler’s habits and proclivities loom large, and in none of them have I ever come across evidence, or testimony that claims, that Hitler was homosexual. In fact, in many of those sources I’ve found evidence of and testimony to Hitler having been heterosexual.

My dear Mr. Austin, on which source or sources do you base your assertation that Hitler was homosexual?

    • james wilson November 17, 2022, 1:45 PM

If there was evidence Hitler was homosexual I haven’t seen it. It may be true that he had a sexual relationship with his niece, who committed suicide. But I wouldn’t bet your life on that either. And as always Eva remains unavailable for comment.
Perhaps the notion that Hitler was homosexual is born in that Ernst Rohm and his brownshirts had a well deserved reputation for faggotry but when their usefullness expired Adolf had them unceremoniously snuffed.
Hitler doesn’t have the vibe. And I don’t think sex was the equal of his other obsessions.

    • Mike Austin November 17, 2022, 2:01 PM

Various Austrian and Germans who knew Hitler when he was a struggling artist in Vienna before World War I knew that he often performed “duties” for rich men in exchange for money. Some of these men were Jewish, which just added to Hitler’s hatred of that race. When he came to power (1933) he still had close relations with his head of the SA, Ernst Röhm, a known and practicing sodomite. Röhm knew about Hitler’s “activities”, which gives another reason for Hitler’s destruction of Röhm and the SA in “The Night of the Long Knives” (1934). Rumor had it that Hitler himself murdered Röhm. It should be known that several of the women with whom Hitler tried to have romantic affairs committed suicide—one of them being his half-niece. I wonder why?

At the very least Hitler was bi-sexual, according to a 1943 US Intelligence report:

“Hitler spent time at a gay hostel in Vienna and was both ‘homosexual and heterosexual’ with a ‘sadomasochistic nature…”

      https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-6255983/Hitler-homosexual-heterosexual-1943-intelligence-report-claims.html

Naturally, for decades now it has been uncomfortable to connect Hitler with sodomy, just as it is to connect sodomites with being prolific serial killers. But it is what it is.

      • james wilson November 17, 2022, 6:40 PM

        U.S. Intellegence report. Okay then.

        • Mike Austin November 17, 2022, 8:52 PM

I had never heard of the report until yesterday. But it does entertain. Hitler as queer or bisexual fills in many holes in his biography. Much if not all of the report has been available from other sources for 70 years.

Besides, to dismiss outright a possibility because you either don’t like the source or don’t like the results is illogical. My guess is you don’t like the result. Ok then.

          • Chuck November 21, 2022, 6:10 AM

“…fills in many holes in his biography.” Pun intended?

      • Auntie Analogue November 17, 2022, 8:54 PM

“Various Austrians and Germans”? Could your assertion be more ambiguous? Who, exactly were they? Perish the thought that they may have had a motive to smear Hitler.

“Röhm knew about Hitler’s ‘activities.'” First I’ve heard of that, and have never seen evidence that Röhm knew any such thing. Most of all, Hitler either killed Röhm or had Röhm killed because Röhm was setting himself and his SA as a rival to the German army whose leaders Hitler was, at that time, craven to win over as a bulwark of political support for himself and his party.

“[S]everal of the women with whom Hitler tried to have romantic affairs committed suicide” is not evidence to Hitler having been homosexual. He was a powerful figure who was careful not to give the press or his political enemies any personal fodder for them to make hay of any of his heterosexual romantic attachments, and his withholding of public affection is one powerful reason why his half-niece Geli Raubal despaired of Hitler committing himself publicly to her; and it makes sense that for that same reason those other “several” women may have also despaired.

I’ve read more than a few U.S. and British intelligence reports on Hitler, and all of them contain gross errors, if not sheer fantasies – exemplary of the wishful thinking of self-promoting, favor-currying, ziggurat-climbing intelligence operatives and analysts.

        • Mike Austin November 18, 2022, 7:40 AM

Will Durant wrote that the writing of History was like writing about the crew of a ship that was lost at sea, and all we have to go on is what has washed up upon the shore. One man makes his conclusions; another man makes his own. You might be surprised—or maybe not—how much of what we call History is really mere guesswork, as in “looking though a glass darkly”. You might also be surprised—again, maybe not—that what we term “the History of the 20th Century” is simply editorial. So many documents have yet to be released—if they ever will be.

As Pilate said, “What is truth?” We still ask that question today.

Yes it’s often confusing to both love someone and then kill them. First the Sodomy, and then the knife.

I don’t think you have enough here to convict Hitler in a court of law, and in fact much that would acquit. If we’re connecting dots, I agree that serial killers associate with tush, and that homoesexuals are not immune to violent behavior. Love bites when you’re doing it wrong.

My interest is in the critical treatment of past characters, in which damn near every historic person is gay until proven otherwise. When you open a biography that’s been written in the past decade, the authors must first rule out gayness in the characters before anything else can be written. A lawyer could nowadays make a mint off of issuing little inscriptions and briefs for headstones and bios saying: he wasn’t gay/ certified.

Picasso, as bad a character as he was, had the same problem with the ladies; his ex-lovers and wives tended toward suicide, but his associations with homosexuals and his badly treated women don’t provide me with any evidence of sodomy. Usually if his dick was out of place it was at the top of his canvases.

I do commend you for not bringing up Hitler’s testicular problems.

        • Mike Austin November 18, 2022, 7:54 AM

It is a habit of mine not to comment on another man’s testicles. But that’s just me.

          • Callmelennie November 18, 2022, 9:01 AM

Its good to know that you choose not to “descend” to that level, Michael

  • Casey Klahn November 17, 2022, 1:03 PM

I think I’m permitted to come at this fine essay piecemeal. I’m actually doing things resembling work today.

Hitler wasn’t the worst SOB in history? Hmm. Is that taken as a snapshot of popularity, or the results of an historical survey? You know, Herr Hitler is rather short in our memories; there are still those living who experienced the world Hitler engulfed in flames. So, give him time, for goodness sakes. I predict his black star will rise (meaning his reputation for evil will increase), and in an unfortunate turn of irony, Herr Marx will increase in the popular mind as perhaps the most significant philosophical and political character in near-history. More’s the pity there.

As a Germanic-American I must protest, lightly, some of your chav. My own personal take on Germans is that they’ve given the world both the best and the worst persons, if you allow me to use those words loosely. Hitler (democratically held to be the wurst!) and Martin Luther, who is my Man of the Millennium just completed. Oh? he didn’t like Jews? That’s not news, but certainly a markdown for his character. His shitty character. However, his positive influence on history is second to none (for the duration of the millennium in question). He courageously pulled man from the muck of religious and political serfdom, and gave him: individuality. The individual is without a doubt the benchmark of humanities better thoughts. In short, we have our political and ecumenical freedom (such as they are) because we understand the importance of each man. Martin Luther gave you this, and don’t fukn say it was Descartes. Shit, did I just cuss there?

Anyway, in your quote from Luther the Jews were to have their places of worship razed, but not their persons. That was Hitler. Coughs.

Extra points for the “well-sodomized” endnote, and the illustration of the lizard man Klaus Schwabby. Carry on.

    • Mike Austin November 17, 2022, 2:09 PM

You have given me an idea: Let’s have a contest—or rather, a game show—comparing the worst people in History. Hitler sure, but I would present as excellent candidates Elizabeth Báthory, Antiochus Epiphanes, Ivan IV “the Terrible”, Ashurbanipal, Herod “the Great”, Shaka Zulu, Phalaris…and on and on. Not just the number of dead, but methods, motives and consequences as well.

A bit morbid to be sure, but still fun.

    • james wilson November 17, 2022, 6:48 PM

Speaking of Germans (before they were Germans) there is compelling speculation that the Greeks were the result of several early Teutonic migrations, hence blond blue red Homeric ideals, with the exception of the Attics–olive skin and dark haired.
      Yamnayas ruled.

      • Mike Austin November 17, 2022, 9:16 PM

One cannot speak of “Greeks” when one speaks of their origins. One must speak of “Dorians” and “Ionians”. The Ionians—the Athenians and those Greeks settled in the rest of Attica—were autochthonous. The Dorians—Sparta and a few other tribes—settled in the Peloponnese, perhaps due to what we call the Dorian Invasion after the Bronze Age Collapse (c. 1200 BC). No reputable scholar associates the Dorians with Germans. That theory was cooked up by—wait for it—Germans and was especially popular among the Nazis.

The Spartans themselves traced their ancestry to the Sons of Hercules—the Heracleidae—who reclaimed their lands conquered by Heracles.

The truth of the matter is that the Dorians either were always present in the Peloponnese or that they were related to the Mycenaeans or to the Macedonians or to the Sea Peoples. We simply don’t know. All attempts to get to the reality behind this takes one to a rabbit hole of theories, assumptions and fantasies.

I simply take the Spartans at their word and leave it at that.

You just can’t put people in columns like that.

          • Casey Klahn November 18, 2022, 7:25 AM

Yes, but I am learning some new words. As far as the Pit Graves and the excellently-named “Ochre Graves” peoples (James brings up the Yamna), I’m interested in how archeologists and ethnologists are way above my pay grade. How do you find a couple of Bronze/Copper Age pit graves and associate the contents from Asia to Finland? Shakes my head. My mind is open, but my credulity is straining.

            • Mike Austin November 18, 2022, 7:45 AM

Much of History and Archeology and Paleontology is mere guesswork, as are the outer limits of Physics. Some paleontologist finds a lone tooth in the Olduvi Gorge and creates an entire biography of the creature who once owned it. This is not science, it is fantasy.

              • Chuck November 21, 2022, 6:19 AM

Reminds me of a comedian that did a bit about a strange looking fish fossil that had a severe overbite and scientists were trying to classify if as some new, undiscovered species of fish. “Have they given the possibility that this was just a dork fish? You know, awkward, bizarre looking, but regular old fish that was just a big ol’ dork?” That paleontologist that finds the lone tooth, may have just stumbled on an accident of some traveler that collected teeth losing one out of his pocket or satchel while on holiday.

  • james wilson November 17, 2022, 1:56 PM

Was Luther wrong about the Jews? Ron Unz makes the case that he was spot on. Moreso Israel Shahak.

    • Mike Austin November 17, 2022, 3:50 PM

When one writes of “the Jews”, one must write with due care and precision—just as when one writes of “Catholics” or “negroes” or “Muslims”. All Jews? All Catholics? All negroes? All Muslims?

Christ called the Jewish elite of His day—the Pharisees—“broods of vipers”, “scorpions”, “white-washed tombs”, “sons of Satan” and “hypocrites”. I’ll take Christ at His word. But He was not speaking of all Jews. After all, He was one, as were His disciples, as were the people to whom He preached.

The Jewish elite of our day clearly resemble in all forms those of 2000 years ago. Most Jews—like most Catholics and most negroes and most Muslims—are just normal people, with normal concerns and normal ambitions. The Jewish elite, like the Republican elite, like the Democrat elite, have no love or care for what America once was. They are like Judas. They hunger for their 30 pieces of silver, as do their Democrat and Republican counterparts. Treachery comes to them as easily as does taking a breath.

To see a Jew behind every problem in the nation and in the world is irrational and a misdiagnosis of our ills.

In Luther’s century his commentary was accurate. Jews, excepting merchants and financers, did not associate with goyim. Even onto 18th century Poland, Jews, then the home of 80% of the world’s Jewry, were unlikely to speak the national language. Self-segregated and insulated in villages and ghettos, ordinary Jews were raised in the Talmudic understanding that Jews have divine souls and goyim do not, being merely beasts in the shape of men. The primary reason for the existence of non-Jews is to serve as the slaves of Jews. In 2010, Israel’s top Sephardic rabbi used his weekly sermon to declare that the only reason for the existence of non-Jews is to serve Jews and do work for them.
No doubt my neighbor just down the street doesn’t hold these views any more that a few million other Jews do presently. But Schumer, Blinken, Soros, and hundreds of other players risen to the top of politics, finance, and influence are believers. That is where it counts. The cumulation of elite Jewish political thought is poisonous, intractable, and ancient.

        • Mike Austin November 17, 2022, 9:29 PM

One can make a list of Jews he doesn’t like and connect them to a Talmudic conspiracy going back centuries. Such a belief reminds me of Borges’ “Tlön, Uqbar, Orbis Tertius”. Or perhaps on a less complicated note, of “The DaVinci Code”. Certainly, there is some truth in all of this—all such theories have some truth about them—but not nearly enough to make the theory logically cohere.

The most influential enemies of America are Obama, Holder, Romney, Biden, Pelosi, Susan Rice, the Clintons, the Bush Clan, Kerry, Valerie Jarrett and all their hangers-on. Not one Jew among them.

  • james wilson November 18, 2022, 1:45 AM

Every name on your list, a mediocrity playing to a script written or approved by his masters. Every. One. But the first, with that first name this should already be too painfully obvious to go on.

And it’s not a conspiracy, it’s a way of life. For the narcissist, it is life, and narcissist rise to the top of true political power. Due credit should be given to the qualities of great intelligence married with true ruthlessness. One tribe stands above all others in that no less than it does in admirable fields of human endeavor.

    • Mike Austin November 18, 2022, 5:20 AM

You are persistent, I’ll give you that. So I will toss you a bone.

The heads of FTX are all Jewish. The money laundering scheme benefitted Zelenskyy—also Jewish. Much of the money went into Democrat coffers, most of which are run by Schumer—also Jewish. The ones approving this scandal were Nuland and Kagan—also Jewish.

Satisfied? Is there some conclusion to be made here? Would such a conclusion be mentioned if the ones behind FTX and the ensuing scandal were Protestant? Did only Jewish members of congress benefit?

As for the “enemies list” I wrote, the members of which you called “mediocrities”: You vastly underestimate your enemies. May I remind you that Biden and his handlers erased 4 years of Trump in two weeks?

  • james wilson November 18, 2022, 10:53 AM

Same mistake, again. Biden did nothing and does nothing, and even that he does badly. His handlers do everything.
Throw yourself a bone now and again.

    • Mike Austin November 18, 2022, 11:39 AM

Do you not understand the use of the word “and” in the sentence “Biden AND his handlers?” It is not just History that befuddles you, but Grammar as well.

      • james wilson November 18, 2022, 1:11 PM

Try exluding Biden altogether and you will finally have yourself a bone.

        • ghostsniper November 19, 2022, 4:45 AM

biden just happens to be the current placeholder, all the real work is being done behind the scenes. if biden drops dead and cameltoe steps up nothing will change behind the scenes.

Jews bad? My wife is one and one of the most wonderful people I know. A saint. Caring, compassionate and puts up with me.

    Jews bad? NO.

False Jews with no DNA of the Hebrew Tribes… EVIL.

False Jews of the Khazarian Empire are the EVIL of this world. The likes of Schumer, Zuckerberg, etc., etc. Pulling all the strings because they created an international banking system that has given them half the wealth of the world through Babylonian Money Majik.

Interesting that their ancestral homeland is much of the present day battle over the Ukraine.

They hide and lurk in the shadows behind and shield themselves with the Jews, Israel and the Jewish Religion… having many ignorant Jews and Anglos as their foot soldiers.

They will throw their own, the other false Jews and Israel under the bus. Look at the vaccination damage to Israeli citizens… most of whom are not real Jewish. Almost 100% forced vaccination.

  • Bear Claw November 20, 2022, 9:56 AM
