    Doonesbury was funny, back about 40 years ago. The guy had a good insight at to the key funny element in every political event, and he could draw it out. But he got crankier as he got older, and stopped being funny.

    Rush Limbaugh has the same talent, applied differently.

    The only character I missed from that strip was Uncle Duke;
    Prosecutor: “what did you do after hearing sounds downstairs”
    Uncle Duke: “I fired off eight rounds into the room”
    Pros.: “Why did you do that?”
    Uncle Duke: “I like to ‘soften’ a room up before I enter it”
    Pros : “That’s Crazy!”
    Uncle Duke: “It is?”

    Then he married Jane Paley, it was never the same after that.

    Garry Trudeau and his contemporary,Berke Breathed,of Bloom County.
    Both blessed with talent,and blasted by fame.
    Two peas in a POD.
    They remain unaware.

    Trudeau’s mocking ‘toon reinforces that Trump remains the same.
    He’s never deviated,he is who he is,then,and now.
    These dumfux have never dealt with an honest man.
