Rocketman Bob Maddox riding his Triple Valveless jet kart “Beast.” Kart is the most advanced Pulsejet kart featuring Instant staring with injected propane and injected diesel. Kart has the full range of throttle and Bob has run it up to 90mph.
And just like that, almost over night it seems, covid morfed into ukraine according to the needy meedia.
Bob should stack 3 more up next to the first 3.

Kewl. It’s great to be old and have something you love as much as I love what I’ve done all my life. And would have a far emptier life without doing it everyday. Plus I truly am the best in the country at what I do. Many 100s of people have my work and treasure it like an heirloom.
Now if only I could grow a wild beard like that.

His used to be longer, but…. He really should move that propane tank to the front of the sled.
Men such as Maddox have a bit of a problem getting old. At 68 myself, I recognize the type. One headline concerning Maddox—and all like him—sums it up: “Die young as late as possible.”
“For the four of five readers who don’t know him, Maddox’s hobbies include skydiving and strapping pulse jet engines to whatever he can find — bikes, boats, his body, whatever.”
And people have called me a “madman”. I demand an apology. Maddox is the real deal: Crazy as a box of street cats. And loving every minute. Does anyone think Maddox will die quietly in bed?
Ah to be 80 again knowing what I know now! 😉
Let’s see… a pulse jet jacketed becomes a flash steam boiler, steam to turbines on each wheel, … young dumb friend to test drive proof of concept…
I have absolutely no desire to return to an earlier age. Hell, even to relive this morning would be a nightmare. I always look forward and seldom if ever wander around in my past. There are ghosts and dragons there.
