At this point, it is clear that there won’tAlways be an England, And England shall be free.”

“feels like some grand, dystopian scare tactic.”

Uh, that’s because it is A GRAND DYSTOPIAN SCARE TACTIC!

I keep grumbling to myself -when is this ever going to end?
And that is the problem. I don’t think it will.

I’m now convinced of the very high likelihood that everyone will eventually contract the virus. If you are healthy you will survive. If you are over 8 and in poor health you will likely die.
    No one gets out alive.

Life is largely what you make of it. Freedom starts INSIDE your head.

Start arresting and locking up rioters. No bail (high flight risk). High fines and jail time upon conviction.
That will help slow them down.

The law should be that anyone who advocates that we should all wear masks should themselves wear them 24/7. The rest of us are free to decide.

I am so tired of talking heads, experts, doctors and politicians on TV telling us we need to wear the mask and there they are on TV not wearing the mask.

    One guy –
Kill your television. The amount of bullshit in your head will lessen enormously.

Every time something on the tube pisses you off, remind yourself that it didn’t turn itself on.

    OneGuy-

I did something that actually brought my IQ back up to what it was when I was around 20 years of age.

What I did was throw our TV out the door of our abode and onto hard ground. Like smash, boom and broken glass and plastic. This was in the year 1995. Never replaced the dangerous piece of crap.

Within a year or so my IQ was back around 120. No drugs or snake oil needed to achieve this “repair”. It did not take a genius to conclude TV was for fools. Smart phones may even more damaging than the TV. I don’t know. I do not have a smart phone.

My local hospital sent out an email for drive through flu shots, and since my doctor’s office is becoming more and more like the dmv I thought this would be a good way to do it this year.

Turns out the drive through flu vaccine tent was next to the drive through Covid testing, maybe eight feet away with nurses in he middle (I laughed out loud at this juxtaposition). Both lines were empty and not another patient was seen as I drove up, they checked my ID, got the shot and drove away, maybe 10 minutes. Nurses were sitting around obviously bored. The nice young woman who shot me through my rolled down window seem pleased to have someone to chat with. Too bad I couldn’t see her whole face.

When I left I kept wondering with all these empty facilities how much longer the lie and panic can last.

Ah..England! Odd, but wise that they would encourage the population to save money, and not rely on the Gubmint.

I have wondered for years why those good folks put sugar in their toothpaste.

It seems that “If you build it they will come” works only in Midwestern American cornfields in the movies. The English haven’t gotten that message, perhaps because “it isn’t cricket.”

Last Monday I drove to the VA hospital Chinese Virus drive-thru Test Tent and was the only vet there. The tent staff were huddling in front of portable heater fans, or just staying inside their enclosed section of the tent.

My husband got his annual flu shot, as his doctor highly recommends one due to his medical needs. He asked what types of flu it protected against this year. His doctor admitted that this year’s flu shots are actually exactly the same as last years. No new research was done to discover the latest strains coming out of Asia, so they just made more of the same serum. Within two weeks he was violently ill with the flu, as he is every year. Everyone I knew last year who got a flu shot, was violently ill and it passed all through their flu shot protected families. I cannot get one as I am highly allergic to them and if I start to feel ill, it is very mild and passes within 12-24 hours. Doctors actually admit each year that scientists guess which strains of flu to protect us from and often miss the mark. They are essentially worthless and may in fact be weakening immune systems over time. And now we are to trust these same scientists to give us the Rona vaccine. Right.
