Putting a bandaid on stage 4 cancer is not an answer.
People can argue the date of when the inevitable downhill slide started but my belief is in 1913 for that is the year that transferred enormous power from the citizenry to the gov’t. Mostly a moral people were the norm in those days but slowly morality left the building and the rules set in place in 1913 slowly started to flourish.
The fuel for any engine is what allows it to run and the fuel for the gov’t is money and in 1913 several new rules were made that created an abundance of fuel for the gov’t engine. Since then more and more rules were created that started wiping morality off the map and instead rewarded immorality and criminality. Those new rules were a result of the bottomless pit of money now at the gov’ts disposal. The us gov’t immorality and criminality spread across the oceans and engulfed all the continents and all of the peoples that lived there. There is not a square inch of land on this entire planet that the immoral and criminal us gov’t has not damaged or tried to.
So, how do you get daddy to take the T-Bird away?
Daddy cannot take the T-Bird away but he can stop putting fuel in it.
Daddy’s credit card has exceeded the limit and is slowly being cut off.

I’ve got to admit that there are days when I’d raise half a glass to any passing (bubonic not General Tso’s Bat) plague virus. It probably means well.
So you had to mention General Tso’s. I’ll have you know that I have been cooking Chinese cuisine for 30 years in 2 countries. I get all my ingredients special ordered from Taiwan. My General Tso’s chicken is the best around: green onions, sesame seeds, light soy sauce, dark soy sauce, hoisin sauce, sweet and sour sauce, brown sugar, chicken double fried after being covered in corn starch and flour, green peppers, peanut oil and siracha ketchup.
It goes best with Basmati rice, washed down with Tsingtao.

Tsingtao Beer is one my favourites. Too many HK’ers won’t go near a mainland beer and drink Carlsberg or San Miguel brewed under license here. I also like Zhujiang (Pearl River == the Canton Cloaca) Beer.
Pleased to hear that you don’t source your beer from Taiwan. Taiwan Beer (it’s an actual brand name) is OK but nothing special. Pity, as the street food is excellent.
Beer Lao (they have a very incongruous-looking giant shiny modern brewery on the road into sleepy run-down Vientiane) is great if you can find it.
You know more about Asia than I ever will. The farthest East I ever got was Istanbul, and I arrived there by bus from Athens during a military coup. I almost ran out of cigarettes, being stuck in my hotel on the orders of uniformed men with cool looking guns. “Midnight Express” was never far from my mind.
As it turned out, I had to leave Istanbul at 3 AM by shimmying down the hotel’s drainpipe and making like a bat out of Hell to Seljuk, and eventually to Rhodes.
Can America be fixed? Nope. The necessary mental, physical and spiritual components that made America great no longer exist in sufficient quantities to do so. The governing of much of the nation has been turned over to sub-IQ degenerates and wild-eyed harridans. The results are all around and obvious to anyone with eyes to see and ears to hear.
Can America be fixed? Yes, if the left can be stopped from fixing it.

America getting fixed will not happen until people are hungry and cold. If it gets fixed at all. The general public as a whole, are too damn fat and happy. Yes, fuel and food prices are sky high but still available, so people bitch but keep living and ignoring it all as it rolls by them, plain as day. I have a friend who is like a brother to me and who despises Biden and the Dems in general and he can see what is going on but can’t get past his normalcy bias. I have begged him to prep for the coming shitshow, but as of right now it’s been a no go. Very frustrating and very common in this country as so many people have no clue to what is happening or choose to ignore it.
