Lots of open ended speculation in this report and a whole lot more of ‘we need more data” and ‘wait and see’. That’s not much to incite getting excited but like Murphy says…everything takes more time and money than you plan projects; or something like that. This virus is some serious shit and I think that people will benefit themselves if, during this time, they will focus upon learning to live day to day and rationally.
I’m 70 and I’ve had bronchial and respiratory problems all of my life and confirmed double pneumonia twice. Other than that and a few broken bones from rough sports and fighting when I was a lad, I’ve never had any other illness or condition that has challenged my health but when I come into contact with anyone who has even a mild cold or who is carrying any non-active respiratory virus, I’ll become ill within a day or two, post contact, and it takes me 2-3 months to get through it.
Social distancing and avoiding family and friends who are ill is a life long stock in trade for me and when I practice it, I don’t become ill. One small slip up and I’m down so I’m not interested in any other alternative during this pandemic. Stay the hell away from sick people; it doesn’t get any simpler than that.
