Too bad and too late. That train as already left the station. Grab the popcorn and watch the left eat their own. Unfortunately, we’ll be for dinner when they run out of each other.

Video is a powerful, powerful, biased manipulator. It can only be so.
    The wind sown, Bill.

  • Rust January 31, 2022, 11:44 AM

Shorter Bill: “Not my monkeys, not my circus.”

It does my heart good to see this icon of the left calling them out for their absurdities. I doubt it will do any good.

  • David January 31, 2022, 11:56 AM

So many mea culpas, so little time.

  • Donald Sensing January 31, 2022, 11:58 AM

I applaud Maher for taking these stands. But I have one question for him: “Are you going to continue to vote for the same politicians that you are presently denouncing, or for other candidates of the same party?” If the answer is yes, then he is just faking it.

  • RedBeard January 31, 2022, 12:08 PM

I think that Maher’s ratings (like those of CNN, MSNBC, etc.) have slipped so far down that he feels the need to try and desperately bring them back up in a futile attempt to engage with a more conservative audience.

Or, maybe he grew a few more brain cells recently, which I doubt.

RedBeard, for the win! These fuckers will say whatever it takes to remain relevant. It’s not about getting it right.

      It’s about getting paid!

BM has tried for some kind of moderation his whole career, and the Lefty quips he’s known for were his (lame) attempts at humor. I remember Norm Macdonald handing him his ass more than once (https://youtu.be/1tzT-E3GWmc). I want every Leftoid to transition to the Right, but it’ll be quit awhile before they’re actually smart. How many years will it take to wash that crap from one’s brain?
I am compelled to forgive. Like I said before, when the balloon goes up, you’ll have very strange allies at your shoulder.

Casey axed: “How many years will it take to wash that crap from one’s brain?”
      ======
Conversion takes about 1 second if you expose them to direct extreme violence.
They have to suffer pain for that is the only way to over ride and expel the evil that encompasses their mind and soul. Anything else will fail.

      • Jack January 31, 2022, 3:49 PM

That has been my experience too. You have to give them more pain than they ever imagined and quickly and it must be ass destroying. So hard and horrible that it remains at the forefront of their minds until the demanded change occurs like the first breath of a baby.

Can’t even trust the propagandists anymore.

  • Kevin in PA January 31, 2022, 1:44 PM

I wouldn’t even click on his vid. BM is a smarmy, cynical, wanna-be who considers himself a libertarian. He ain’t. He is just another jerk-kneed fascist parading as a commonsense guy who wishes he was funny.

  • Mike Austin January 31, 2022, 3:35 PM

As long as I have heard of him Maher has slandered, insulted, belittled, laughed at and cursed at everything decent and noble and honorable left in America. And now he makes a few quips against wokeness? Here is how he mocked a dead guy:

    https://i.redd.it/oqdjj3wnuli21.jpg

Maher said Christianity is “stupid and dangerous”. Maher also said, “I don’t know what happens when you die, and I don’t care.”

Well Bill, neither will I care when you cross over. I doubt Christ will think you’re funny. But Lucifer will.

    • Vanderleun January 31, 2022, 5:01 PM

I think like opposing lawyers both will laugh at Maher over lunch.

    • Daniel K Day January 31, 2022, 8:43 PM

Mike Austin, everything, or nearly so, you just said about Maher also applied to George Carlin. He spent nearly all his career mocking conservative values. He gets far too much credit nowadays from conservatives, from what I can tell on the internet, for railing, in the end, at what the Left had done to the social and political culture. Did he really become “one of OUR assholes” in the end? Nah, Carlin just remained a misanthropic asshole, albeit with some valid points to make.

      • Gordon Scott January 31, 2022, 9:37 PM

Carlin used to have a bit of charm, enough that Johnny Carson let him host The Tonight Show now and then. But man, he got so damn mean toward the end. I saw one of his live shows in the early 2000s and hated the experience. I didn’t laugh much during the first half, but the last half was a miserable, vicious asshole ranting for 45 minutes. I didn’t even smile.

I read his Playboy interview. He was quite proud that during his time as an Air Force security policeman, he would stuff the remains of his box lunch inside the engine of the B-52s he was supposed to be guarding. These were the alert birds, parked ready to start in seconds. What a great guy, eh?

      • Mike Austin February 1, 2022, 1:11 AM

I never got the popularity of Carlin: crude, vulgar, filthy mouthed and a definite misanthrope. And now I find out about his exploits in the USAF. A “miserable, vicious asshole” sums up Carlin completely.

  • Butch January 31, 2022, 4:37 PM

Fuck Bill Mahr and his audience of brainless clapping seals with flaming barb-wire-wrapped pineapples.

  • David Spence January 31, 2022, 5:21 PM

The only reason a straight male “changes” his views so suddenly and drastically is to exponentially increase his chances to get laid. (See, e.g., “Squinty and Meatpuppet”-Scarborough and Brzezinski).

Maher, Stewart, and others are stepping off the train, temporarily. The Deep State is signalling crop failure and backing off, awaiting another planting season. Republicans will rotate the crops for them.
