Who Am I? by Carl Sandburg
My head knocks against the stars.
My feet are on the hilltops.
My finger-tips are in the valleys and shores of
universal life.
Down in the sounding foam of primal things I
reach my hands and play with pebbles of
destiny.
I have been to hell and back many times.
I know all about heaven, for I have talked with God.
I dabble in the blood and guts of the terrible.
I know the passionate seizure of beauty
And the marvelous rebellion of man at all signs
reading “Keep Off.”
My name is Truth and I am the most elusive captive
in the universe.
Duty, Beauty, Liberty, Country, Honor, Family, Faith — Plus a few simple easy to follow rules for guys
The Vault
Take It Where You Find It
Men saw the stars at the edge of the sea
They thought great thoughts about liberty
Poets wrote down words that did fit
Writers wrote books
Thinkers thought about it
Take it where you find it
Can’t leave it alone
You will find a purpose
To carry it on
Mainly when you find it
Your heart will be strong
About it
Many’s the road I have walked upon
Many’s the hour between dusk and dawn
Many’s the time
Many’s the mile
I see it all now
Through the eyes of a child
Take it where you find it
Can’t leave it alone
You will find a purpose
To carry it on
Mainly when you find it
Your heart will be strong
About it
[Chorus]
Lost dreams and found dreams
In America
In America
In America
Lost dreams and found dreams
In America
In America
In America
And close your eyes
Leave it all for a while
Leave the world
And your worries behind
You will build on whatever is real
And wake up each day
To a new waking dream
Take it where you find it
Can’t leave it alone
You will find a purpose
To carry it on
Mainly when you find it
Your heart will be strong
About it
[Chorus]
Change, change come over
Change come over
Talkin’ about a change
Change, change
Change come over, now
Change, change, change come over
I’m gonna walk down the street
Until I see
My shining light
I’m gonna walk down the street
Until I see
My shining light
I’m gonna walk down the street
Until I see
My shining light
I’m gonna walk down the street
Until I see
My shining light
I see my light
See my light
See my shining light
I see my light
See my light
See my shining light

Well that is some good news!
Much thanks.
Excellent! Pleased to hear this. My prayers continue to be sent to His ear.
That which doesn’t off you only makes you stronger.
Be well and be free of the insurance uber alles, Big Pharma, and scalpel center ASAP.
Great! Now I get myself some chocolate ice cream!
I will await some more positive news.
Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor? Hell no! And it ain’t over now.
Gerard will be back! Continued prayers from Kansas.
To Gerard: Get Well… Be Well… Stay Well. And… if after all of the best wishes you’d enjoy some reading material, here’s the latest Good Citizen report from Davos. It’s packed with so many potent observations and clickable items I’m sure this will encourage you to know we’re on to these bastards.

Gerard, keep your good humor. A whole lot of us out here in bizarre land need you back ASAP.
My wife and I pray for your return to excellent health and American Digest.
It seems we have a ship with no rudder and are in stormy seas.
I’ve posted a few things lately but none of them went thru, they got throwed off the conveyor belt. Just trying to keep things flowing.
The US is still going to hell in a handbasket at an ever increasing speed and the people that know this are doing what they can to make it thru the best they can. Thing is none of us knows exactly what the future holds so we can’t really fine tune our plans, we have to stay somewhat loose and able to go whatever direction we need to at any given moment.
1. Become as self sufficient as posible.
2. Become less reliant on gov’t anything.
3. Form and cultivate relationships with like minded people that are interested in 1 and 2 above.
4. Create alternate and multiple streams of income.
5. Stay aware of current events, locally, nationally (most important) and internationally.
6. Keep honing skills and trying new things to make oneself more helpful to self and others.

Ghost, I am saddened by the news of Gerard. This could be farewell to a lot of fine folks here. Again and again I’ve been in lockstep with your attitudes on a multitude of everything. I’ve agreed with you more than anyone else at American Digest. What you wrote… “NO, I won’t accept this”… is my response, too. I’m pulling for Gerard to recover… this is the only way I’m going to be about it. If indeed Gerard should leave us and American Digest finishes, then I want to have a beer with you. If you click my website, give me a call or send an email, I’ll ring you up when I’m driving in the vicinity of Beanblossom. https://www.santafesignmaker.com/
