You Want Smaller Government? Did you vote for Smaller Government? Okay, Here’s the Plan from the White House

And how do we know this plan has teeth? Because the FedWorkers are afraid. Very afraid.

The American Federation of Government Employees, the largest union representing federal workers, promptly assailed the plan as a “scheme to gut federal services,” in part by targeting domestic programs that have long been unpopular with conservatives.

“There’s little reason to believe this reorganization plan is anything more than a scheme to eliminate essential programs and public-service jobs, reward or punish political appointees depending on their allegiance to the White House, and privatize government programs to reward political donors,” AFGE President J. David Cox Sr. said in a statement. What Does Trump’s Proposed Government Reorganization Portend? – Nonprofit Quarterly

THE SYNOPSIS COURTESY OF WICTOR:

THIS explains the foam -spewing savagery of the Democrats.

  • HERE WE GO!
  • Merge the Departments of Education and Labor, creating the Department of Education and the Workforce.
  • Move the Army Corps of Engineers Civil Works out of the Department of Defense and into the Department of Transportation and the Department of the Interior.
  • Merge the food-safety functions of the USDA, HHS, and FDA into a single agency within the Department of Agriculture.
  • Move the USDA’s rural housing loan guarantee and rental assistance programs to the Department of Housing and Urban Development.
  • Merge the Department of Commerce’s National Marine Fisheries Service with
the Department of the Interior’s Fish and Wildlife Service.
  • Merge the humanitarian-assistance services of the Department of State and U.S. Agency for International Development.
  • Move the policy function of the Office of Personnel Management into the Executive Office of the President.
  • Consolidate the Department of Energy’s applied energy programs into a new Office of Energy Innovation.
  • You’ll LOVE this next one. Restructure the U.S. Postal System to return it to a sustainable business model or prepare it for future conversion from a Government agency into a privately-held corporation.
  • Consolidate protective details at certain civilian Executive Branch agencies under the U.S. Marshals Service in order to more effectively and efficiently monitor and respond to potential threats.

And now a little bedtime story:

Once upon a time, the government had a vast scrap yard in the middle of a desert.

Congress said, “Someone may steal from it at night.”  So they created a night watchman position and hired a person for the job.

Then Congress said, “How does the watchman do his job without instruction?”

So they created a planning department and hired two people, one person to write the instructions and one person to do time studies.

Then Congress said, “How will we know the night watchman is doing the tasks correctly?” So they created a Quality Control department and hired two people, one to do the studies and one to write the reports.

Then Congress said, “How are these people going to get paid?” So They created the following positions, a timekeeper, and a payroll officer, then hired two people.

Then Congress said, “Who will be accountable for all of these people?” So they created an administrative section and hired three people, an Administrative Officer, Assistant Administrative Officer, and a Legal Secretary.

Then Congress said, “We have had this command in operation for one Year and we are $18,000 over budget, we must cutback overall cost.”  So they laid off the night watchman.

The pool of money located in DC is too much of an enticement for corruption. All connected to government are getting their hands in the pot and grabbing as much as they can. When you see Andy McCabe’s net worth at $14M for 20 years of government work, not to mention Auntie Maxine’s wealth and all the others something has went wrong.

In the words of a great statesman – elections matter.

Redundancy must be maximized. That’s how government creates jobs and stiulates the economy. Didn’t 8 years of Obama’s shovel-ready but not ready for shovels projects teach us anything?

Here’s what that rotten piece of shit AFGE President J. David Cox Sr. looks like.
When looking at that pik my nut kicking foot starts to get jittery.

When Coolidge inherited the office from dead Warren Harding, he started spending most of his time cutting the budget. The federal budget had bloated a lot during World War I, and Coolidge spent his time with the head of each department, going over spending line by line. They had awards and incentives. It worked. The budget in 1929 was lower than when he took office in 1923.

Thanks for the AFGE link. I see the pig/hog at the helm now has over 300,000 little piglets to milk. Quite a feat for little slime ball.

If these individuals were conservatives serving an organization promoting faith and honor, they would be targets of the left.
