“Why Do the Heathen Rage…”

1 Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing?

2 The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the Lord, and against his anointed, saying,

3 Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us.

4 He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: the Lord shall have them in derision.

5 Then shall he speak unto them in his wrath, and vex them in his sore displeasure.

Psalm 2

Isn’t there something in the bible (revelation maybe?) about a large amount of people losing their minds as the end time draws near? I know it says stuff about the 1/3 of the water turning to wormwood, etc. What’s behind all this ridiculous behavior that going on? Pardon my skepticism cause I just don’t see this stuff in person. Only on the web.

    OT, but not OT:
Chateau Heartiste has been de-platformed by Wordpress for TOS.
Lights going out all over the internet.

    Also OT…
Endangered frogs in California are making it difficult for state officials to decide on regulations that allow fire crews to clean up debris left from a deadly fire in the town of Paradise.

Clean-up crew have been barred, however, from entering approximately 800 sites because of frog species that have halted rebuilding and clearing efforts as state and federal seek an agreement on environmental guidelines, The Sacramento Bee reported Friday.

    Are you kidding me?

Then there’s this guy, who should know better then to spout this sort of rot. :

Honestly, I’ve grown weary thinking about this pope. One would think that anyone with even a modest ability to discern, would see the perniciousness in a so-called Global Government.
Some have speculated that Francis, as prophesied by St. Malachi, is the last Pope. Other, rock-ribbed Roman Catholics maintain that he is not, and never was, Pope. With regard to the prophesy; time will tell. Should Francis be succeeded, it will be interesting to see if the College of Cardinals will correct the mistake they made on March 13, 2013. Or, perhaps, the Church will continue toward schism.
Sowing chaos, breaking their bands asunder, establishing doubt and uncertainty seem to define the time in which we live.

I saw that about Chateau Heartiste last night—the second major milestone (after the torching of Catholic Churches across France, culminating with Notre Dame) marking the beginning of the end.

    Buckle up, people!

That is part of Handel’s most famous oratorio, the Messiah.
