I took a M.S. in Bacteriology in ’57, then shortly got bored with science (believe me, real science is drudgery), and took on a career as an air transport pilot. I forgot that phages even exist until now. They were a pretty big research item in the ’50s.

Cute cartoon, if only Gates Foudation had done as well with common core.

I remember reading that the Soviets were researching and experimenting with phages back in the early ’80s. I wonder what happened to their research.

This might be something that CDC or other governmental bodies (Walter Reed Army Institute of Research or some such) should be working on rather than depending on pharmaceutical companies. Too bad the pharmaceutical companies don’t seem to believe in capitalism any more.
