Why Trump Signed “That Evil Funding Bill:” One Possible Scenario, Iran.

HT By way of AD commentor Eskyman who notes,
Those wishing to change trains: the Trump Train isn’t due to stop for years. You can jump off, but there is no safety net, and there are cannibals below; it’s your choice! Also- there aren’t any other trains, if that matters to you.

For those who still have some faith, and know that sometimes- like in cowboy shows that we all watched when I was young, and in real life too- the Bad Guys wear White Hats, to pretend that they are Good Guys when they’re not, and sometimes the Good Guys do subterfuge too! Here’s how Thomas Wictor sees this Bill and its signing:

Unrolled thread from @ThomasWictor

(1) All right. So here’s what’s going on.

All your questions answered.

This is why Trump signed the omnibus spending bill.

Saudi general in charge of Yemen campaign speaks to euronews

“We want to restore security and stability in the region, reinstall the legitimate gouvernment , push militias to come back to roundtable. We will not accept another Hezbollah in Yemen. The state institutions did not disappear. Our international vision is to work with all countries and the UN, except one: we cannot cooperate with Iran,” he said.

Assiri was with the crown prince in the states last week where they got Trump’s support for the offensive against Iran, for their operation in Yemen and the rest.

(2) Final sentence:

“Assiri was with the crown prince in the states last week where they got Trump’s support for the offensive against Iran, for their operation in Yemen and the rest.”

(3) “Offensive against IRAN.”

So regime change in Iran is on.

(4) Our military must now train like maniacs.

We’ll be working closely with the Iranians and their Arab allies.

THAT is why we wiped out the Russian unit in Syria.

We had to show the Iranians that we’re serious.

(5) Trump is slapping China with all sorts of penalties.

Why?

Because we don’t need their help in dealing with North Korea.

(6) H. R. McMaster is an expert on North Korea.

In April and September of 2017, the USS Jimmy Carter returned to port flying the Jolly Roger, indicating the successful completion on combat missions.

(7) The Carter patrols the Pacific and specializes in inserting and removing special-warfare units.

(8) Trump has agreed to a face-to-face meeting with Kim Jong-un.ALL American presidents refused to do so, because that would show Asia that we consider North Korea an equal.

(9) Everything adds up: We’ve destroyed the North Korean nuclear capabilities.

And now Trump is reaching out.

(10) We used Rods From God.

(11) One of the bombardments killed Kim’s entire nuclear-weapons unit.

Up to 200 killed at North Korea’s nuclear test site: report

Up to 200 workers could have been killed after a tunnel collapsed at North Korea’S nuclear test site, according to a media report.

Japanese broadcaster TV Asahi said around 100 people were trapped when the unfinished tunnel caved in at the Punggye-ri site, which lies south of the Mantapsan mountain, 50 miles from the border with China.

The Telegraph reported that the incident occurred on Oct. 10, citing South Korean news agency Yonhap.

Another 100 people could have died in a second collapse as they attempted to rescue their trapped colleagues, TV Asahi reported.

(12) So North Korea has surrendered.

McMaster resigned, because he won.

Now he goes back to the army.

(13) Enter John Bolton, a guy who has balls of steel.

Regime change in Iran will require balls of steel.

Ergo, John Bolton.

(14) Trump wrote this.

(15) That means the mullahs will be gone by September.

Also Hezbollah.

(16) There’s talk that Trump will use funds from the omnibus to build the border wall.

Well, I suppose it’s possible, but the wall pales into nonexistence compared to everything else that Trump is accomplishing.

(17) Besides, we’re doing pretty well without the wall.

Immigration arrests spiked, illegal border crossings dropped in 2017:

(18) Since wall-heads are never satisfied, and since they’re angry no matter what, my guess is that Trump has something ELSE up his sleeve.

Before the midterms, I think we’re going to learn a hell of a lot about Democrat criminality.

On a level that nobody anticipated.

(19) Trump will GO THERE.
(20) Trump sent this message to the Iranians.

(21) Thus, as I always knew, Trump has everything under control.

He used the wall to distract.

We’ve defeated North Korea in combat. They’ve surrendered.

(22) The mullahs and Hezbollah are next on the assembly line.

Or DIS-assembly line.

(23) Best president in American history.
(24) When you see the big picture, you don’t let pissant bloggers and pundits get you down…

(25) ADDENDUM: I forgot to add this:

In September–after the mullahs are gone–Trump will have the giant showdown with the swamp.

THAT’S when he’ll veto everything until they give him what he wants.

[GVDL: You might think that various elements of this scenario area far-fetched and I tend to go along with that. At the same time, Don Surber follows this sort of thing very, very closely and he thinks there is a lot to it:

Don Surber: Signing the budget defeats Iran

Victor said this is why Trump signed the budget. He needs the defense appropriation to fund training of our soldiers for this.

More good news: Trump is slapping China with all sorts of penalties.

Why?

Because we don’t need their help in dealing with North Korea.

Like me, he believes we took out the North Korean nuclear capabilities in October when the mountain they used for developing and testing collapsed.

I said it was Rods from God last year. Don Surber: Trump may have ended Nork’s nukes program

Victor said, “We used Rods From God.”

Rods from God are tungsten rods 20 feet long and one foot wide that we placed in orbit. We release them over the target and gravity makes those rods travel at 10 times the speed of sound. Upon impact, you have a nuclear-bomb type hole without the fallout.

General Jim Mattis hinted in September that there might be a way to strike Nuke Mountain without putting Seoul at risk. A month later, either an earthquake or the U.S. Space Force hit the mountain.

Which brings me back to Victor’s take on not vetoing the budget. Trump needs the defense money.

So North Korea has surrendered.

McMaster resigned, because he won.

Now he goes back to the Army.

McMaster was a loaner.

Enter John Bolton, a guy who has balls of steel.

Regime change in Iran will require balls of steel.

Ergo, John Bolton.

Steel. Pfft. Trump’s are tungsten. Can withstand more heat and hit harder.

Many readers have pointed out this is a continuing resolution rather than an actual budget. That means the deal ends September 18, instead of at the end of the federal budget year, which is September 30. That will wreck Democratic plans for November.

The deal does not include money for the wall. Victor is dismissive about the wall.]

Alert the Authorities!

“So North Korea has surrendered?” Not buying it. I wish it were so. No evidence of this. Zero. Sorry, but no, repeat no evidence. Bargaining table? That’s not the same as a deal.

  • Vanderleun March 25, 2018, 3:31 PM

    “We’ll see.”

  • RKV March 25, 2018, 3:45 PM

We’ll it’s your blog V-man. My motto is and has been “In God We Trust – all others bring data.” And I’m not seeing data yet. I really do want the US to succeed and for President Trump to succeed. We’re way better off than we would be with Killary or Crazy Bernie that’s for certain. Zero and the Xlintons should be in jail imho. I haven’t seen any perp walks, have you? I am trying keep up hope.

I would say that Gust’s monologue in his bosses office is the best part of that movie GVDL.

I would repeat it to every member of Congress:

    Gust Avrakotos: Promises were made!

    Cravely: Not by me.

Gust Avrakotos: I’ve been with the company for twenty-four years. I was posted in Greece for fifteen. I’ve advised and armed the Hellenic Army. I’ve neutralized champions of communism. I’ve spent the past three years… learning *Finnish!* Which would come in handy here in Virginia, and I’m never ever sick at sea. So I wanna know why… I’m not gonna be your Helsinki station chief.

Gust Avrakotos: [after smashing his boss’s office window] My loyalty! For twenty four years people have been trying to kill me! People who know how. Now do you think that’s because my dad was a Greek soda pop maker? Or do you think that’s because I’m an American spy? Go fuck yourself, you fucking child!

  • Vanderleun March 25, 2018, 4:44 PM

Indeed. I love that scene. Was just watching it again.

About Hope, RKV… it is always essential.

6 And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. Matthew 24 KJV – And Jesus went out, and departed from – Bible Gateway

As the man said. Above my pay grade.

  • Howard Nelson March 25, 2018, 6:27 PM

Helluva scenario! If true, me of lessened faith in POTUS will aim for major revival.

  • Geoff C. The Saltine March 25, 2018, 7:30 PM

We don’t know what Trump knows.
If all of this is true it’s going to be a hell of a year the likes of which we have not seen in a long, long time. Carry on President Trump.

  • ghostsniper March 25, 2018, 7:37 PM

    Pipeline.

  • scory March 25, 2018, 7:40 PM

There are always VERY GOOD, even VITAL reasons for govt. to run up trillions of $ in deficits. When have there not been? It’s always good to anticipate and plan for the future (especially the future that pops up the first Tuesday in November of every even numbered year). Votes cost lots and lots and lots of money.

  • Casey Klahn March 25, 2018, 8:42 PM

Only reinforce victory; never reinforce defeat.

Damn the torpedoes; full speed ahead!

And, as regards the budget, we go back to the now famous Gen. Grant quote: “we’ll lick em tomorrow.”

I arfing love the smell of napalm in the morning. Smells like…victory.

You’re pissed @ the big budget. Just think @ how pissed the dems are about the military budget. That is some sweet schadenfreude, indeed.

  • anon March 25, 2018, 9:58 PM

Great positive thinking, if a bit wishful, by Mr Wictor.

  • Quent March 26, 2018, 1:58 AM

This all reminds me of the wild and wonderful fantasies generated by Romney supporters to convince themselves that he was going to win in 2012.

  • Eric Gagnon March 26, 2018, 6:04 AM

    — yes, and during Bush’s Iraq misadventure when everyone was talking about how Bush was playing 5-D chess and we just didn’t understand what was going on. Turned out he was every bit the inbred dumbass his detractors said he was and I think history is going to repeat itself this time.

  • Casey Klahn March 26, 2018, 8:29 AM

Gosh, Mr Gagnon, you sure seem to know a lot.

I suppose if we hadn’t gone into Iraq in 2003, we would’ve gained the initiative in the MidEast somehow, some way. Sucks to always strive and never quite get it, doesn’t it?

All we are sayyyyyinggg, is give war a chance….

  • Eskyman March 26, 2018, 4:29 PM

“We’ll see.” Yep, now it’s wait and see time, and none of us are the patient types, and that definitely includes me. Thanks, Vanderluen, for posting my thoughts! I still think Wictor is right on this, but time will tell.

I’ll admit, that tease of vetoing this Bill, then immediately signing it without any kind of fight- well, that had me pretty beat down. After this bad news had sunk in a while, I realized it doesn’t really matter: there’s no place left to turn. It’s Trump’s way or the highway; so I may as well stick right where I am, even though I was sick to my stomach when I first got the news.

Then I got to thinking of what President Trump has already accomplished: a famously conservative Justice on the Supreme Court- lots of conservative judges on Fed. circuit courts- the biggest tax cut ever!- 1000’s of odious regulations rolled back- getting the US out of that horrible Paris global warming deal- and the list goes on and on. He’s done pretty damn well, and he hasn’t yet been there for two full years yet! Here’s a list of his top 10- 1st year accomplishments from The Hill, who aren’t his greatest fans: http://thehill.com/homenews/administration/366429-trumps-top-10-accomplishments-of-2017

Since I’ve had time now to reflect on it, I really do believe that Trump has done the “rope-a-dope” deal with the Dems. He cried out, “Please, oh lordy, please, don’t throw me into that briar patch, B’rer Foxy Schumer!” So he got thrown, and Schemin’ Schumer laughed. Thrown exactly where he wanted to be, and soon the Dem’s laughter will turn to tears!

Maybe it won’t turn out that way. But then, maybe it will! And every day I wake up, there’s no Hillary in the White House, which is icing on the cake!
