The President: A Man In Full

EXCERPT: Here are the lessons and winners of this epic, historic battle over the Brett Kavanaugh nomination:

First, America always does the right thing … but only after exhausting every other option.

Second, the biggest winner is President Donald Trump. Notch another victory on his belt. The score after 21 months in office is Trump 100, Democrats 0. Against all odds, Trump just keeps winning.

Remember, last week Trump also won the Mexico-Canada trade battle; unemployment dropped to the lowest level since 1969; Hispanic unemployment dropped to the lowest level ever; manufacturing jobs growth was the best since 1995; and Trump’s approval rating soared to 51 percent at Rasmussen. Polls show Republicans pulling away in Senate races across the country. This was the best week of the Trump presidency.

In Trump’s world, it’s all about the fight and your fighting spirit. It’s all about your ability to bare-knuckle brawl. Winning isn’t about brains or IQ. It isn’t about brilliant ideas or unique strategy. Winning is all about being a relentless fighter. Being a bulldog. Being a bull in a china shop. It’s about fighting spirit. It’s about believing in yourself and your goals. It’s about fighting so hard, so passionately, you never let go until victory is achieved.

It’s about who wants it more. Trump always wants it more.

That’s what Trump is all about — the fight. Sure, you get bruised and battered and slandered. Sure, it hurts. But anything worth having is worth fighting for.

Trump proved it in the 2016 election. He was attacked, denigrated, slandered and humiliated more than any politician in history. But he never backed down. Instead he doubled down. He came right back at his critics. Winston Churchill said, “If you’re going through hell, keep going.” Trump just kept going … and fighting.

And after being slandered and called all those bad names, he’ll now be, for the rest of all-time, President Donald J. Trump. Was it worth it? You bet it was.

Churchill also said, “Never give in, never give in, never, never, never.” That rule is more important than anything else. It’s the reason Trump keeps getting his brains beat in and yet always comes out ahead. He’s bloody, dizzy and staggering, but his arms are raised in victory. You can’t beat Trump, because you can’t outlast Trump.

The other big winner was Brett Kavanaugh. The vicious, soulless, American left tried to destroy him, ruin him, eviscerate him. They never imagined a wimpy, middle-aged, judge from Yale had it in him to fight back like a no-holds-barred street brawler. But Kavanaugh studied Trump. He learned from Trump.

All his brilliance, eloquence and fancy Yale education didn’t win the Supreme Court for Kavanaugh. He had to take off the suit, get down in the mud and fight for it. Kavanaugh channeled the “Trump Rules.” If you want something in life, you’ve got to fight for it. Just as Trump proved, once you’re on the other side of the battle, with your hands raised, it is all worth it. The ugliness, lies and slander are all forgotten. All that matters is they call you Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh.

The final winner was the entire GOP. Republicans have always been the party of wimps, cowards and “nice guys who finish last.” Trump changed all that.

This isn’t your father’s GOP. This is the party of Trump. This is now a party of brawlers, head-bangers and New York street fighters. Heck, even our judges are willing to get in the ring and go 12 rounds!

    Excellent!
When the worm turns, it turns into a hybrid rattlesnake/boa constrictor; rattles the opposition and then crushes the cacamaniacs.

Years from now people will shake their heads and say “Trump” and those of us who are still alive will just nod and reply, yep, he was quite a President, have not seen one since, great times.

Trump may well end up as one of the great Presidents, not on the fraudulent list made up by fake historians and fake journalists, but on the reality list.

How much of that stuff in paragraph 2 is verifiably real, and where’s that wall?

Kavanaugh didn’t come off as a fighter. Not even a little bit.
He did what the amcoms tell rape victims, “Lay back and enjoy it.”
    He basically let it happen.
There are 3 kinds of people. Those that make stuff happen, those that let stuff happen, and those that say, “What happened?”. K was number 2.

    But.
I’m glad that rotten hor isn’t up there. You know who I mean.
Has she fallen down the stairs and cracked that punkin yet?
    That’s my undying hope.

“Those that make stuff happen, those that let stuff happen, and those that say, “What happened?”” First time I’ve heard it that way ghost. Always heard it said, “Those that make stuff happen, those that watch stuff happen, and those that wonder what happened?”

Please tell me that awesome picture is his official presidential portrait.

Excellent! Where is the full article?

Donald Trump will have an aircraft carrier named after him. Barack Obama? A hospital ship, if he’s lucky.

I was not a Trump fan. Still have my issues with his style. But, to quote Abraham Lincoln when he was criticized for appointing the less than perfect U. S. Grant to command: “I have need of this man. He fights.”

I wasn’t a big Trump fan either until he demonstrated, by deed and not word, that his grasp of the cauldron was greater than mine.

  • Scullman October 12, 2018, 11:48 AM

I don’t know, I thought for a Yalie brainiac the Judge did pretty well for himself when the shit hit the fan. I mean he’s no ghost sniper bad ass mo’ fo’ toughest scribe on the internet.

    But then, who is, right?

The Border Wall needs to be completed and then be named as “The Great Wall of Trump”. If he keeps completing his checklist, he’ll have his own bust on a mountain somewhere even if it has to be crowd funded.

  • ghostsniper October 12, 2018, 1:34 PM

    Right.
    Perception is everything.

  • Deana October 12, 2018, 6:25 PM

    ghost sniper –

I don’t know what you were listening to but the testimony I heard come out of Kavanaugh was that of a fighter. He did not let anything happen to him. He named names in his opening statement when he identified who were behind those despicable attacks. He did not softly deny the allegations. Had he come off brash, bare knuckled, rough, what do you suppose the Dems would have done with him? They already tried to portray him as unsuitable for the job due to his “temperament.”

Kavanaugh hit just the right note. Few men in his shoes would have done better.

As soon as the Wall is ready the firing squad will be assembled. Robots programmed to detect rotten, corrupt politicians by stench, will select those to serve justly as firing squad targets.
Gallows will be used for the fellow-traveler miscreants, ‘hangers-on’, so to speak.
Commercial breaks will be taken to fund repairs to the Wall and gallows trapdoor, and to purchase ammunition. No salaries are necessary for squad members, since there will be volunteers aplenty.
Ammo will be composed of pelletized pig poo-poo, and the trapdoors will drop the swamp rats into sewers.

Deana – the “fix” was already in. There was no way K wasn’t going to be confirmed.
What you witnessed was a “smooth-over”, the right catering to the left just because, an effort to make the whining go away. There was no fighting there, not like that which you would see from any man that was accused of something he hadn’t done, but rather a little side show – bits of bread thrown to the yappers.

  • Howard Nelson October 13, 2018, 12:19 PM

Deanna, you’ve got it right. K’s castigation of the Democrap pornicians and their corrupt practices was epical truth, finally shaming the shameless dung beetles.
K’s near tears were tears of liquid rage, and sorrow, perhaps, imagining the bullying his daughters will encounter for years to come.
Unisex pissoirs will be dedicated to Feinstein, Schumer, Booker, and their coconspirators, in the National Hall of Shame.
Of course, pissoir construction will be multilevel, single-column with waste connections such that the looser-user-losers will excrete/secrete upon each other.
