Let’s Review 64: Sucking Chest Wound Edition

How to Treat a Sucking Chest Wound

Or this stunning notice from the very artificial intelligence at the heart of the Internal Revenue Service [Note, Read Aloud ]:

Trump ends 68-year-old war “North and South Korea are in talks to announce a permanent end to the officially declared military conflict between the two countries, daily newspaper Munhwa Ilbo reported Tuesday, citing an unnamed South Korean official,” CNBC reported.

The Blue Ring Octopus is about the size of a golfball, but it packs enough poison to kill 26 people in a few minutes.

Can We Judge People By What They Look Like? In Fact, Yes,

Maxing out your carbon footprint: Activist lawyer burned himself to death to protest global warming “It was just lying there, on its back, knees slightly bent like someone would lie on the sand at the beach,” said Irena Ryjova, 44, a rollerblader who passed by at about 7 a.m., less than an hour after the immolation. “It’s a shock; it’s a shame,” said mom Dana Lall as she shepherded a crowd of Catholic-school kids past the horrific scene, en route to a baseball game.

“The Catholic Church is an institution I am bound to hold divine — but for unbelievers a proof of its divinity might be found in the fact that no merely human institution conducted with such knavish imbecility would have lasted a fortnight.”

I don’t think any of us living today can comprehend the violence of worship in the Mexica culture (or Aztecs, as they are more popularly known). The Mexica waged war not principally to defeat rival states or gain territory, but to gather warm bodies for human sacrifice. Prisoners were hustled up to the temple summit, where a priest would carve out their hearts and drop them into a cavity in a stone eagle. Then, while still quivering, the de-hearted prisoner would be tossed over a precipice. When the Spaniards (not exactly peaceable men themselves) arrived in 1519, they said the center of Tenochtitlan smelled like a slaughterhouse, so thick was the odor of human flesh. At the Templo Mayor, the central altar whose ruins stand in Mexico City, archaeologists have found human bones packed so tightly they formed a kind of floor. They have found human skulls mounted on spits and displayed on the altar, for the public to admire. The Mexica made devotional objects out of skulls and human skin. Some modern writers have tried to show that the Spanish conquistadors exaggerated the human sacrifice; archaeology has shown that, if anything, they lowballed it.

Everything that works to lose weight is right wing, and everything that makes us fat is left wing. In this sense, The obesity epidemic is connected to leftism in much the same ways as the human immunodeficiency virus epidemic is connected to leftism. Leftists want gays to be allowed to make blood donations, fact acceptance, and don’t want us to get testosterone, for much the same reasons.

Which leaves ad hoc irregulars, partisans and several other forms of insurgency. If we’re to see military violence on home ground, this is what we’ll have. It’s “ambush and atrocity” warfare, worse than a classic civil war, it feeds on revenge, goes on longer and ends in a bloodbath by the victor. No side—there are always more than two—would recognize neutral bystanders. There would be no home front, the notion of “safe spaces” would simply not apply.

Liberation from WHAT? |   This has the interesting consequence of making the folks in Our Thing the real proletariat.  Just as the de facto serf in 1905 had an answer –€” a very detailed, specific answer, right down to a list of who to murder first –€” to the question “liberation from what?”€, so do normies.  Not to put too fine a point on it, the answer is: “€œliberation from the tyranny of ‘€œdisplaced Southern queer millennial womanist organizer/writers.'”€  If I were the leader of a burgeoning Alt-Right €œstudy circle , I’€™d make up big, full color posters of They and paste them all over campus, with the slogan / hashtag  €#this is your master.€

Personally I’m delighted that that California lawyer set himself on fire. He was a rampant homosexual and an attorney for NAMBLA, ostensibly a pedophile and most certainly a real piece of shit. I’m glad he’s gone and my only regret lies in the fact that he didn’t attend a NAMBLA meeting, lock all the doors and set the entire thing on fire.

The Aztec and Mayan civilizations have always interested me and not because of their weird art and carvings but because of their religious ceremonies. Not too unlike their northern native America cousins who roamed the plains of the US, these Mesican Induns were some blood thirsty chaps; the major difference I suppose being that the former slayed his enemies and left them where they fell while the latter built huge temples and scaffolds and made killing an all participating spectator event.

Mel Gibson, who I have always loved, made Apocalypto and I believe that its story captures the mood of the Mayan culture far more accurately than any written account.

The human sacrifice by Aztecs and Mayans was done to provide the ruling classes with meat. They were literally cannibal kingdoms, to use anthropologist Marvin Harris’ term for them. They did not have livestock and there are no game animals in Central America, so human slaughter was what they did.

Hell is on standby tonight. Aleister Crowley’s daughter is due down there any moment. But she’s gonna have to run a guantlet of murdered souls first though…

Re: Sucking chest wound. One would likely not have time to sterilize something that would work. If someone is punched through the lungs then you want to cover that up with a poncho, sandwich bag, diaper, etc. Deal with any infections, which most likely the projectile already produced, after the bleeding has stopped.

2 things are happening at the same time with the chest wound.
The lung air seal has been breached, and excessive bleeding.
The bleeding must be stopped first as the lungs will fill up with fluid on the back stroke.
Lack of air will cause brain damage so this process must be dealt with very quickly, think seconds not minutes. Do several dry runs to get it down.

Use this to stop the bleeding: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00HJTH22E/?coliid=I2B6DO67U5M6JF&colid=3UORV2ULAZ25L&ref_=lv_ov_lig_dp_it&th=1

Outside air is being drawn in from the wound sabotaging the breathing effort.
To stop this you need 2 of these: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B003VSORKC/?coliid=IB79E5QRPSSJG&colid=3UORV2ULAZ25L&psc=0&ref_=lv_ov_lig_dp_it

    Why 2?
For the entrance and exit wounds.

    Remember, clot first, seal second.
Between clot and seal the entire wound area must be cleansed with alcohol and dried with a clean cloth. The seal needs to adhere to dry tissue and it must be checked constantly.

This 1st aid for sucking chest wound is valuable and possible but unlikely that you could use it to save someone’s life. If you get a bullet, knife stab or other impalement to the chest and you can seal it using this technique the patient is still dying. They need real medical help stat! Probably with or without this 1st aid the patient will die from choking on their blood or from blood loss within minutes. But again this can buy you precious minutes if real help is minutes away.

Just for information purposes. I have had two lung biopsies. A simple procedure where a needle is passed between your ribs into lung tissue to extract a sample. Not fun. Not particularly painful but not fun. At the exact second the needle breaks the pleural cavity your (the patient) condition/state of mind drops 99%. Your lungs feel collapsed (they didn’t) you suddenly have blood in your lungs and feel like you are drowning. All this time you must stay in exact position not moving in the slightest as they poke around to get a sample. They run the MRI again with the needle in your lung to reaffirm that they are in the right spot. They pull out the needle and honest to god you feel like maybe you are dying. The doctor and nurse are telling you that it went well you are doing good but you cannot get past this terrible feeling. An hour later you begin to feel more normal but psychologically you feel shity like you almost died. So imagine what it feels like to get knifed or shot.

    @Anon, very descriptive. Scary.
    Without the seal you’re dead.
    With it, maybe not.
    You have to try.
