You must be sitting in my glove box. I was driving my 15 y.o. daughter to the mall yesterday, and TFF was playing on the radio. We were talking about Eighties music, since the station was running that era.

The mall in the video looks like something from the Seventies. Or else, Canada.

    Re Muppets Revival:
Clearly, the “protests” by the yutes were a bought and paid for AstroTurf operation. Whether real or fake seems to me to miss the point. What the adolescent useful idiots did, was to further move the Overton Window concerning guns farther to the left. Eventually, (perhaps in the not-too-distant future) Rinos, spineless republicans, and those republicans who have always been stealthy, treasonous Judases, will sense sufficient political cover to enact “common sense” gun control legislation. Naturally, THEY will be the ones defining “common sense.” Mission accomplished.
Grassroots or AstroTurf? A distinction that makes no difference.

They make falling asleep too much trouble. Its mostly having a position that signals to self that “I am going to sleep now”. Its a habit.

From that mostly retarded gray man article:
    “There is no universal advice.”

I’ve read some of them “gray man” articles that have been floating around for a long time and most of them are lacking in that sentence above.
One more time: “There is no universal advice.”

If you live in NYC camo may make you stand out, around here it looks normal.
In NYC a backpack looks normal, around here people will keep an eye on you.

When I leave the compound everything I need, to live 3 days in the wild, is on my person and not visible.

No, you don’t need a gallon of water each day.
Yes, you can go 3 days with zero food and not die.
(and that whole thing about 3000 calories per day. Pleez. No wonder there’s so many beached whales running around. They are consuming waay more than they need and sitting on their fat asses the whole time they’re stuffing their dumpy mugs. Thats a double wham)

My EDC in part is a razor sharp assisted tactical blade, a rarely used BIC lighter, a 14500 rechargeable tactical flashlight, phone, small notebook and astronaut pen, small pouch with (2) extra 8 rd Beretta mags, Beretta 21. In my pockets out of view.

My britches don’t need a belt but I wear a high strength leather belt with a std steel buckle cause it can be used for lots of things. Leather ankle high hikers that have been saddle soaped and mink oiled. My leather wallet carries a few supplemental things and I also carry a large bandanna carefully folded and heavily washed to eliminate the newness. I also carry a 2nd wallet in my left rear pocket made out of ballistic nylon with some additional back up supplies.

Other things would be nice, if I was to be stranded for 3 or more days and trying to get home on my 2 LPC’s, but then I wouldn’t be gray any more if I had them on me. So I make up the diff by what is carried inside my head and foremost live by the Remus rule of “Avoid Crowds”. I fear no animals, most of them stay away from things that might harm them, but I do fear humans because through stupidity or violence they can force me to kill them and I really don’t want to be in that position.

    Gray man?
    No.
I prefer Clear Man – unseeable.

I flunked the low profile method early on. I always seem to stand out like a sore thumb. It’s good to know your own profile, and plan accordingly.

When your profile is too high, you have to be more situationally aware than most. You want your awareness to extend out to the corps area, which means watch for shit coming over the horizon. It sounds paranoid, but paranoia is only good when bad things are actually there. Most of the time, if you act and behave calmly, then others will, too. Have escape routes. Understand the capabilities of bad guys and bad things. Know yourself.

Gray man, clear man. Don’t fuck with me man. All useful profiles. Best to know yourself and the environment.
