What if the News Reported Only Facts? The business model of the news media has moved away from hard reporting and toward punditry and opinion. Viewers enjoy opinion-driven content and it costs a lot less to produce than hard news. And that means the news industry has moved from factual reporting to — for all practical purposes — some form of imaginary mind reading to fill the hours.

Many underestimated the smooth-talking strategy that these Islamists were using for decades to seize power….. It may be hard to believe that such a murderous force could come into power so easily and fast. What is important to understand is that the Islamists and their followers work covertly in a society for decades to deceive the people and reach the top. Iran’s was a meticulously planned takeover that no one saw coming. The Islamists’ willingness to be patient to complete their control of the society cannot be underestimated. Despite openly reading about all this, many will still think it is impossible for something like this to happen in their country. What they fail to understand is that Iran is an example of exactly how successful this meticulous grab for power can be. History Lessons From Years Under Islamism |

If you blow up the Constitution, you’ll regret it | Armed and Dangerous The ten in the Bill of Rights are especially tripwires on an explosive that would bring the whole thing down. And of all these, the First and Second are especially sensitive. Approach them at your peril. I will now add a very sober and practical warning: If the Constitution is abrogated by a “repeal” of 2A, it will be revolution time – millions of armed Americans will regard it as their moral duty to rise up and kill those who threw it in the trash. I will be one of them.

“The side-effect of the #MeToo fanaticism will be less employment opportunities for women, in politics, entertainment, media, etc, as male bosses seek to avoid the witch hunts and fishing expeditions. The fear of these will outweigh the fear of being seen as weak on inclusiveness.” Don Surber: #MeToo mania hurts women

Alice Liddell, inspiration for “Alice in Wonderland,” lost two sons to WWI and as a widow was forced to sell her manuscript of “Alice’s Adventures Under Ground”

Tolkien is for we “children of the kindly west” one of our great traditions; taken in part from days when we too sat around waiting expectantly on the weather or huddled together afraid of the earth’s often fickle temperament. I wonder how many people are reading Tolkien here in Africa? In the west…? where we no longer read, where we no longer think we need the traditions, where the siren’s song of ‘progress’ has lured the unsuspecting to perilous shores, drowned along with their ancient wisdom. We built a culture in which celebrity is our highest aspiration. From ”Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous”€ to “Here Comes Honey Boo Boo”€, we have taught our kids that being rich, being famous, being glamorous is what’€™s important. When we cut ourselves loose from any virtue higher than others’€™ opinions of us, no one thought it would result in a generation of teens who eat Tide Pods for a few Youtube clicks.  Because no one ever thought. Rant: Second Amendment Repeal There are around 350 million privately owned guns in America, which means that if you picked up one in three, you’d only be returning the stock to where it was in 1994. Does that sound difficult? Sure! After all, this is a country of 330 million people spread out across 3.8 million square miles, and if we know one thing about the American people, it’s that they do not go quietly into the night. But the government has to have their guns. It has to. The Second Amendment has to go.

You’re going to need a plan. A state-by-state, county-by-county, street-by-street, door-to door plan. A detailed roadmap to abolition that involves the military and the police and a whole host of informants — and, probably, a hell of a lot of blood, too. Sure, the ACLU won’t like it, especially when you start going around poorer neighborhoods. Sure, there are probably between 20 and 30 million Americans who would rather fight a civil war than let you into their houses. Sure, there is no historical precedent in America for the mass confiscation of a commonly owned item — let alone one that was until recently constitutionally protected. Sure, it’s slightly odd that you think that we can’t deport 11 million people but we can search 123 million homes. But that’s just the price we have to pay. Times have changed. It has to be done: For the children; for America; for the future. Hey hey, ho ho, the Second Amendment has to go. Let’s do this thing.

The Audacious Epigone: Fake Russia collusion calumny delivers body blow to FBI’s credibility

Finding New York’s Best Tea & Coffee in an Ancient Village Emporium

Even after thousands of years no one has the answer to outrages acts like this. Certainly not gun control laws. People have figured out gun control isn’t about crime, it’s about power. States banning AR-15 style rifles have a compliance rate of five to eight percent, by their own estimate. The inventory is increasing actually, arms manufacturing is going underground, guns are becoming the bathtub gin of the 21st century. Add these to the three hundred million already out there, and an estimated one trillion rounds of ammunition. Woodpile Report

How Long? | How long has this sort of thing been going on and what other scandals are there? We know the Obama administration weaponized the IRS in an elaborate scheme to undermine Republican groups. We also know the whole thing was broomed by the FBI and DOJ. Knowing that those two organizations have been corrupt for a long time now puts the IRS scandal in a new light. What we may have seen was a cover-up in plain sight, with one dirty agency covering for another dirty agency.

San Francisco is nearing the end of its going broke slowly phase. All at once will come soon. They can’t help themselves. They have allowed themselves to be governed by the mentally ill. So all the mentally ill congregate there.

I have the misfortune to remember curious things. We have seen this last year, that what they are doing leaks out in curious drips and drabs. They can’t keep a secret even among themselves, so when they are doing the dirty deeds, they gotta whisper about it. The whispers get picked up.

During the 2012 election there was chatter about Willard having overseas bank accounts. And his tax returns. By now, nobody wants to go there, but we all know now what they were doing. They had a FISA tap with furious unmasking on everybody Willard talked to, cuz he once talked to a furriner banker somewheres, who like Carter Page was probably one of their stooges and a plant. And they secretly tracked every penny he spent or got, back for years. Where do you think dirty cop Mueller got all his mad investigator skills?

Bump stock. See the recent interview of Pamela Gellar by Gavin McInnes. She doesn’t know what happened at the Las Vegas shooting, but she has some interesting things to say. ISIS has not, to date, ever claimed an act they did not do. They claimed Vegas. The reason you don’t know too much about Vegas, is that the FBI doesn’t care for you to know.
Back to Gellar: her event in Garland, TX experienced a terrorist attack on our soil. The FBI was in touch with the terror cell before it implemented the cartoon attack. The FBI had contact with the shooters (the bad guys), and was tailing them in a car, and tex messaging them as it went down. The agent drove away as it went down. No FBI information, or protection of any kind, was provided to the cartoon convention. The 1 wounded cop sued the FBI in relation to the attack.
Back to bump stocks, and Vegas. The bump stock on an AR platform actually saved lives in Vegas. The small round failed to penetrate sometimes at that range, and spraying bullets and sounding like an MG made the thing an unaimed fiasco, warning his targets the whole time. Just revise the whole thing with a bolt action rifle. God forbid, but casualties would’ve been way higher. Confusion would’ve reigned, and each shot would’ve been aimed. Kind of puts the stupidity to the interest in the “bump stock,” which is nothing more than a toy and with very narrow application to anything you could possibly describe as “shooting.”
Quit focusing on ARs and bump stocks. Start looking very, very closely at the FBI. And I have never been a conspiracy guy, in any case you can ever think of. However, I do read the news.
In 1999, I was told by a field agent that my bosses’ (and by extension, my) concern for Mideasterns who were buying up tactical gear at our store was unwarranted. He offered that to me unprompted, and a few months after the fact of our complaint and interview. He was getting my expertise on some other matter, and just inserted that out of nowhere. I was surprised at his lack of professionalism, but it now makes some sense to me, if you overlay a narrative of the FBI don’t want you looking at Mideastern terror too closely.
Add the present revelations that an FBI guy was working to undermine the election. Add that it was the FBI and the Oregon SPs who gunned down a rancher in eastern Oregon.
I really hate conspiracy theories: they are generally fantastical and mostly irrational. Stupid, actually. But, anymore of a clue bat about the FBI and I may be in the market for that mortar the old dude had in the video…
