Instructions For Wayfarers
They will declare:Every journey has been taken.
You shall respond: I have not been to see myself.
They will insist: Everything has been spoken.
You shall reply: I have not had my say.
They will tell you: Everything has been done.
You shall reply: My way is not complete.
You are warned: Any way is long, any way is hard.
Fear not. You are the gate – you, the gatekeeper.
And you shall go through and on . . .—Alexandros Evangelou Xenopouloudakis

Obama: The Most Corrupt President In American History?

Home Truths Continued: Race And Realism

Every absurdity will be defended if it benefits one’s ethnic interests and every scruple will be abandoned if it holds them back: this is the sad truth of identity politics. The much-cherished virtues of loyalty, consistency, and reason will vanish. Ask Austria-Hungary as its Serbian citizens throw bombs at the royal family and its Romanians sneak away in the night to fight for the Tsar; ask them if diversity is a strength. Ask the Ming emperor as his Jurchen and Manchu vassals mount their warhorses to take the dragon throne for themselves, ask him if diversity is a strength. We must never forget what history plainly teaches: all good states are ethnostates.  The Prince, The People, And Everything Between

The orgy of anti-Americanism, particularity the hatred for whites, is a group psychosis. Fixing this is not going to happen with elections. It changes when the ruling class changes and that probably means the swankier parts of Cloud Country will experience car bombs, IED’s and assassinations. “Our diversity unites us…”
Isn’t “divide” the root word of “diversity”? It just seems like a counter-intuitive, kinda “oxy-moronic” statement to me. Perhaps “our diversity unties us” would be more apt.

  • Dr. Jay January 29, 2018, 12:56 PM

Interesting comment Chex. I’m still trying to figure out, “How many roads must a man walk down?”

Certainly the prior administration has been the most corrupt in my lifetime. Without a smidgen of doubt. Little of what occurred, could have without the complicity of the agit-prop division of the DNC, otherwise known as the former Fourth Estate. I would be quite enthusiastic to read an honest, accurate account of that most corrupt of all administrations, but I know such a book will never see the light of day. Pathetic how the so-called MSM and left ( but I repeat myself ) is stuck in the past reliving its glory days. Case in point: the current movie The Post. Forty five years ago, while they deliberately ignore felonies that would rock the country, pertaining to abuses of power that were once thought only to happen in Iron Curtain countries. BTW, Lois Lerner would have been right at home in the Stasi ( The Lives of Others ). Obama had eight long years to insinuate his minions into every aspect of the government. His desire to transform the country succeeded beyond his most fevered sdreams. We endured him, it remains to be seen whether we survived him.

    Just a quick rant:
The “race and realism” screed is deeply thought out and elegantly expressed – in a layout (white print on a black background) that very few will have the patience for.

Unfortunately, due to the above, tl/dr.

I’m about to watch the Finicum video and read the link. Color my evening ruined, but chalk that story up as the time Obama and Oregon’s bitch governor killed a rancher for sport. What would we be living like, now, if HillaBeast had gotten the presidency. Add to the list of Obama corruptions, all of which I recall vividly, the fast and furious debacle. Add also the run on new illegals when they knew Obama would not prevent them from coming in. Add Benghazi. Add the firing of Petraeus, and a gaggle of flag grade military officers.

  • Casey Klahn January 29, 2018, 8:17 PM

Maybe you wouldn’t take over a federal reserve (bunchgrass land toilet stop in the middle of nowhere) as a protest like the ranchers did, but I hope you also can see that this was plainly an assassination. It is not legal to shoot a man for being armed, even when he’s running from a roadblock. He never threatened to shoot at the cops, and it’s conceivable to me that he did not have a gun on his person. It is not illegal to have guns in your truck, and he was not at the protest but on a state highway. He told the SPs and the FBI present that they could shoot him or let him go to the sheriff, but he never threatened to shoot the cops. Never presented a weapon. Did resist arrest. Is that shootable? Resisting arrest is shootable? In what police state?

I hope I someday meet the guv of Oregon, so I can give that wretch a piece of my mind. I did write my governor about the outrage. Of course, he never responded. Now I’m probably on his shit list.

OK. Take a breath. Government tyranny is never more than a whim away, and this was stock footage of just that. No, you wouldn’t do what Finicum did, but when you are treated as he was for some violation, you can bet you’ll be vilified in the public arena. The libs in the city will be glad you got your comeuppance. Of course, until they, too, are met with the same by the same tyrants they supported before. Because that’s the way tyranny rolls.

I feel we dodged these bullets, and I mean literally speaking, when Trump got elected. But, I fear it’s going to take one hat trick after another to keep us safe.

“No, you wouldn’t do what Finicum did…”
    ==========================
    Right. Finicum was rather brassy.
But, you don’t have to be brassy to get shot these days.
You can be the most compliant person on the planet and still get dead.
The jack boots will shoot anybody, anywhere, anytime, for any reason, or no reason.
This is the world we live in now.

    There are 2 solutions.

    1) Arm yourself and shoot any jackboot before s/he shoots you, but then everything up to and including air strikes will be summoned and you will die.

    2) Do as Remus suggests, to the extreme. My method. Avoid everyone and everything.

In “Dirty Harry”, Harry suggests that every man must know his limits and long ago I learned mine. I have always had a dangerously low threshold for violent situations that can cause me to ignite instantly and I thank my wife 100% for “training” me to stay away from situations that can make that happen.

2 tables over at Applebee’s a guy slaps his wife and I believe I should go over there and destroy his dental records with a chair. I’m sitting there staring at him seething and my wife suggests that we leave. She may have saved my life.

As my ol’ gray haired Pappy used to say, and it took me a long time to learn, “Look way ahead for trouble, son, and steer yourself around it.” This country is full of trouble.

Thank you for the link on Obama admin scandals. The banking one keeps slipping my mind, though it is truly horrible. I saw a video compilation of journalists, eyes wide with awe and true admiration, jabbering about BHO’s scandal-free administration. There are so many souls who absolutely believe that.

And so thank you also for the link to that essay on demons! Bought provoking stuff.

Richard said that he’d be enthusiastic to read an honest, accurate account of the BHO admin’s scandals in total. I had that very same thought.

  • Jayne January 30, 2018, 10:35 AM

    Sheesh. Not “bought” provoking.

    Thought provoking stuff.

Proofreading before hitting ‘submit’ button would give me much better results.

Instructions For Wayfarers is quoted from Robert Fulghum’s 2 volume ‘Third Wish’ which is available from Amazon and Abe Books.

  • Vanderleun January 30, 2018, 12:15 PM

Thanks for mentioning that. Fulghum’s a friend and I’d forgotten he’d put th at in his book.

  • Snakepit Kansas January 30, 2018, 6:25 PM

    Ghost….right as usual.

Be armed and well trained. You have to take the time to train whatever it is you are going to use to defend yourself in whatever situation.

I am a homebody and our crew still has plenty to do together. We are not isolated, but we do not go out every weekend seeking fun. The outside place we are commonly known, is the Wichita located gun range that I also work at for a hobby. Indoor 100 yard range as well as 20 yard pistol range.

You will fight like you train. If things get bad, those with the guns will make the rules.

  • Green Eyed Jinn January 31, 2018, 6:00 AM

Thank you for the link to the Social Matter essay.
    A particularly thought provoking thesis.
“The state exists to protect. Where there is no state, there is anarchy, and where there is anarchy, there is freedom; but this freedom comes with a price so dreadful that no man can endure it for long. You can kill but you can also be killed. You can rob but you can also be robbed. Your tribe can exterminate another tribe just so you can have some extra cattle grazing land, but the other tribe can also do the same to you. It is a brutal world where might alone rules. Most men claim to want freedom, but if they were to ever get their wish, they would quickly regret it. More than freedom, men desire order.”

  • Casey Klahn January 31, 2018, 8:07 AM

Look up the Code of the West, and I don’t mean the Wyoming state version, I mean the old one. It tells you how to be on the frontier. Don’t inquire into a man’s past. When approaching on the trail, show your hand. Let bygones be bygones. Or, as the line in the song says, “the only law is right.”
Now 2 years ago, or was it only one, I showed up in my front drive wearing my sidearm, and talking to the deputies and the SWAT teams. We met several times in this situation, and they knew I was armed and they knew why. There was an escaped inmate who took to the woods (in cotton, in November / shit, I couldn’t resist that…) and he was armed and my isolated house was the bullet-center of the search cordon. That was a real situation; I cleared my multiple outbuildings with the Marine Mossberg. I recommend a round called 12 Gauge Dead Coyote for such a task.
Anyway, I’m happy I live where I do because freedom is in my house, and just outside my door for a mile or two. The county sheriff knows which side the bread is buttered on. The entire county is armed to the teeth, and not much of anything really happens, except when California drug cartels motor through or meth labs burn themselves down. Self reliance is a hallmark, although if you tried everything and still are in need, everyone shows up to help. If you come with your hand out, and your hat in the other one, it’s not that great a reception.
We don’t make friends with coyotes here, either. We understand them too well.

So the obvious solution is to hire a gang of thugs that rob, rape, cage, and kill, and much more.
    Worldwide.
No thanks, I’ll have none of it.
Most problems can be traced to gov’t and it’s elimination would not cause disorder for most people live their lives as if gov’t doesn’t exist.
If you trust the irresponsible and overwhelmingly incompetent gov’t to shape order you will be drastically disappointed and this is more than obvious to everyone paying attention.
