HOOOOOAAAAAH!!!!! Memories best left lost in the ether!
The whole package looks to be created in the ’70s as an adjunct to the intense press coverage about how dropping acid would “improve” your life or maybe a part of the notice of an upcoming Timothy Leary lecture at Berkely! “Tune in, turn on, drop out” and get massive irreversible brain damage! And it tasted a whole lot better than detergent pods, especially when dripped on a sugar cube. Do they still make sugar cubes?

While watching this, for some reason, this joke popped in my head: Pavlov is sitting at a pub enjoying a pint, the phone rings and he jumps up shouting, “Oh no, I forgot to feed the dog!”

That was well done! I was worried that the Shenanigan might have slipped off its base, which is of course made from preframulated ammulite, and that could’ve caused great damage to the sperving bearings. Wouldn’t that have been a pity!

As we all know, to successfully tune this instrument one needs a turbo encabulator, such as this one made by Chrysler:

As a professional musician I have to say: that is effin hilarious! Great spoof on “early musick.”

Speaking of sugar cubes. I was in a restaurant just yesterday, a charcuterie delicatessen in Waltham, Massachusetts, where they placed a shallow tray of roughly shaped sugar cubes, white and brown, out with our coffee.

Do they have white and brown sugar cubes for the same reason I keep white and brown corn cobs in my outhouse?

  • Jim in Alaska February 25, 2018, 8:56 AM

You did notice, of course, that was a left handed Shenanigan, far far less common than the right handed Shenanigan.

    “. . . white and brown corn cobs . . . ”

    Very funny BillH

Reminds me of home. Ha, Ha !!!

You can do that at home, too, Jaynie! Adds a touch of class to the tea table.
