“I used to be pro-choice. I bought all the stupid hype.” One of the Millions of Converts to Pro-Life

Eric Spencer on Twitter, The Full Thread:     The Left, as usual, has absolutely no idea what they’re doing. And by that I mean they are blissfully unaware of the consequences of their actions.

I used to be pro-choice. I bought all the stupid hype. I’m a man, I have no business telling a woman what to do. Yadda, yadda.

I also believed the Left when they said: “legal, safe, and rare.”

What converted me to pro-life? It began when abortion started getting less and less rare. When pro-aborts started pushing abortion as a means of birth control. But that was just the beginning.

Gosnell was another milestone for me. It wasn’t a drastic change in my position. I somewhat dismissed it as a one-off. Sure, there were (and are) likely still other Gosnells out there, but the exception and not the rule, right?

Next came the undercover sting videos a few years ago. Planned Parenthood wasn’t just providing a service for women. They were profiting off the sale of aborted babies. A bridge way too fucking far.

Side note: Odd how Walmart or Amazon are evil for profiting, but PP isn’t.

At that point, I became extremely pro-life. I’ve been calling for the feds to defund Planned Parenthood ever since. What they’re doing shouldn’t be happening, but they sure as shit shouldn’t be getting any of my money to do it.

Know where I’m at now? Ban it. Ban it all. Criminalize abortion. Hell, death penalties for the “doctors” for all I care at this point. Hell, I’d happily pull the trigger, flip the switch, or push the plunger myself.

So that’s what you’ve done, @TheDemocrats. In under 20 years you changed me from “her body, her choice” to “why aren’t we giving these ‘doctors’ the death penalty?”

You built that. You made that happen.

And if you think I’m the only one, you’ve got another think coming.

I can only pray that in 50 years or less you would get the question “you thought babies weren’t human?” and that would have the same heft as someone saying today “you thought blacks weren’t human?”

Ignore me (if you want) but I’m preachy. Maybe through a person praying and fasting another person can live and a demon leave! And our mutual Creator with His Own Holy Spirit proceeding may send His Holy Angels through Christ our Lord Jesus His Son who was crucified, died, and is alive now to love and move a person to hear the truth and to repent and stop a murder and also then obey God more. (-comment by me, a sinner)

I hope he’s right, that there are many many more like him. Polling data I’ve seen shows that younger people are much more pro-life than their parents generation, so over time the cultural norm should change with it.

My generation’s support for abortion (late Baby Boomer) is the worst thing about it. Along with the materialism. And the obsession with self. Oh, and the movement away from faith. So, four “worst” things. And I’m probably forgetting a few …

Abortion became legal and became the preferred method of birth control for many so fast that we never noticed our souls slipping away.

I read the story at the link. 18 hours a day, 7 days a week.

I mean, I’m used to lefties lying about shit. Environmentalists lie like they breathe. Workers in the welfare industry lie about how much cheating goes on. Global warming scam…endless. But hey, let’s exaggerate the number of illegal abortions by a factor of ten…what fun, eh?

“The banality of evil” – Hannah Arendt

I sincerely believe that the people who, without repentance, fought for and welcomed the abortion horror into our world will contemplate in Hell forever, – on those four words.
This includes all who still support it with their votes and participate in it.

    Silent Scream indeed.

I love it when they say that now women don’t die from abortions. Because that is another lie. Women die from legal abortions too, especially since we pay more attention to the cleanliness at nail salons than we do about abortion clinics. I’ve gone from pro-choice to “shut them all down” too.
