Caution: Construction Ahead

Over the next few days, I’ll be helping my mother manage her transition from rehabilitation back to her own apartment. Posting may be light.

    Flowers, don’t forget flowers.
    We’ll manage.

Just remember to keep an eye on her “friends”. She just got out of rehab, ya know. Don’t let them talk her into overly-long bridge games for a while. 🙂

Chinese take-out with loving son is considered the best home coming by all the nibs. Also, possibly a new hair-do at Monsieur Henri’s.

“But, Ma! Magenta? Really? MaGENta! ‘Mind my own business’? You ‘Somehow managed to live 100 years without my hair appraisals…. Who do I think I am…Rex Reed?’ But Magenta, Mom….. Okay, I’ll ‘Go outside and feed a pigeon.’ These modern women!”

Am I reading too much into this? Are you having to construct a ramp? Don’t take the time to answer. Doesn’t matter so long as she’s back home.

Bet she’ll be delighted to be back in her own home. Take good care.

As of this evening, mom is back in her apartment of the last 38 years and happy to be there at last. There will be more rehab and more getting used to her new pace, but for today, and there is only THIS DAY, she’s been given a new lease on life as she prefers to live it.

Many thanks for all your prayers and good wishes.

    Welcome home Mom Lois

We never for a minute doubted that you would be healed and home in a short time. You’ve got a lot of moxie. You and your son make a great team.

    “til we see you again,

    Bob and Peg
