Manitoba’s Jan Lambourne was shot in the stomach in the mass shooting. She was carried to safety by Las Vegas bartender Justin Uhart who stayed by her side until she went in for surgery and called her family. On Wednesday, they saw each other for the first time since the shooting.
And that’s where I’m going to leave it for Friday.

Wow.
Mutual guardian angels. I suspect they will forever lift each other’s spirits.
Sobbing away in the CVS parking lot in Augusta, Maine after watching this on my phone. A new level of horror. Family member from Las Vegas is here, and decompressing, in spite of being the tough, stoic guy he is. Could not reach this person (well, my only child, a planner for LV government) when the news of the crime came out, and wild and horrible imaginations ensued for me, both specifically and generally. When I finally got him on the phone and told him him to get his ass back east for some Maine time, there was no argument. Hiking Acadia tomorrow. Thanks be to God.
Just love
Thank you for posting both of those clips, Gerard. You’re one of the helpers.
