“And Away We Go!”

FBI Warns Republican Memo Could Undermine Faith In Massive, Unaccountable Government Secret Agencies

“Making this memo public will almost certainly impede our ability to conduct clandestine activities operating outside any legal or judicial system on an international scale,” said Wray, noting that it was essential that mutual trust exist between the American people and the vast, mysterious cabal given free rein to use any tactics necessary to conduct surveillance on U.S. citizens or subvert religious and political groups. “If we take away the people’s faith in this shadowy monolith exempt from any consequences, all that’s left is an extensive network of rogue, unelected intelligence officers carrying out extrajudicial missions for a variety of subjective, and occasionally personal, reasons.”

“Scorecard! Scorecard! Can’t tell the players without a scorecard!”

FULL MEMO AT The Nunes memo

House Intelligence memo released: What it says

  • * The Steele dossier formed an essential part of the initial and all three renewal FISA applications against Carter Page.
  • * Andrew McCabe confirmed that no FISA warrant would have been sought from the FISA Court without the Steele dossier information.
  • * The four FISA surveillance applications were signed by, in various combinations, James Comey, Andrew McCabe, Sally Yates, Dana Boente, and Rod Rosenstein.
  • * The FBI authorized payments to Steele for work on the dossier. The FBI terminated its agreement with Steele in late October when it learned, by reading an article in Mother Jones, that Steele was talking to the media.
  • * The political origins of the Steele dossier were known to senior DOJ and FBI officials, but excluded from the FISA applications.
  • * DOJ official Bruce Ohr met with Steele beginning in the summer of 2016 and relayed to DOJ information about Steele’s bias. Steele told Ohr that he, Steele, was desperate that Donald Trump not get elected president and was passionate about him not becoming president.

Don Surber: Memo confirms Obama’s corruption

“Whether inside the Environmental Protection Agency, within the Foreign Service, on the edges of the Labor Department or beyond, employees are using new technology as well as more old-fashioned approaches — such as private face-to-face meetings — to organize letters, talk strategy, or contact media outlets and other groups to express their dissent.”

The story described rogue, six-figure-salaried bureaucrats with nothing better to do all day than sit around hating our president and the deplorable people who defiantly elected him.

Democrats resist the Constitution.

That’s what the “resistance” is about. Its very name implies the threat of violence. After all, this is the party that believes in “by any means possible.”

Democrat John Wilkes Booth assassinated Lincoln. Democrat Nathan Forrest formed the Ku Klux Klan to resist the Republican takeover of the South during the Reconstruction. And today’s Democrats carry on that violent tradition: one Democrat shot and almost killed Republican House Whip Steve Scalise, and another Democrat attacked Senator Rand Paul, breaking his ribs.

Naming Names Is Mandatory in the House Intelligence Memo | Roger L. Simon

Spying is too difficult, time consuming and often inaccurate. Disinformation is simple. So that’s what they have given us and always will. Did they want Trump to win? Absurd. Like everyone else — except me and Scott Adams — they thought Hillary was going to win. They just wanted to sow discord. This is so obvious a third grader should be able to figure it out. The whole Trump Russia Collusion story is, to put it simply, bananas. Not even Adam Schiff could really believe it — at least I hope not, in which case he would have to be a lunatic.

Yea, that Nixon, what a horrible man he was…

  • Casey Klahn February 2, 2018, 12:29 PM

Don’s got it right: “Memo confirms…corruption.”

We already knew the FBI was in the tank, and a corrupt tool of Obamaland. Where’s the news?

Expect this to go in the toilet, with all other black knowledge about liberal socialist corruption, and expect it to become not actionable. Even though, it is the smoking gun that shows our vaunted FBI is executing a silent coup against we the peeps.

Expect my opinion of the FBI to be browner than Dillinger and Capones’ put together. At least they were criminally guilty; America is only guilty of electing our choice, and not the Beltway choice. On Dr_dge, I read a link where Pelosi calls this a prelude to a constitutional crisis. Note: when a lib pillar like Nancy says “constitutional crisis,” what she means is the constitution is being used to stop her party’s criminality. It is known that POTUS has the authority to can the FBI director, and the special prosecutor. That’s her constitutional crisis. Trump might use his authority.

    To meet our justice quota
we’ll need to hang the miscreants by their scrota.
And you thugs missing such genitalia, well, we’ll just long-term jail ya.

Tom Petty + Heartbreakers had it back in 1991:
All the Wrong Reasons from Into the Great Wide Open album
    3rd verse:
Where the sky begins the horizon ends
    Despite the best intentions
And a big ol’ man goes up for sale
    He becomes his own invention
OH, the days go slow into the changing season
Oh, bought and sold for all the wrong reasons
Oh, down they go for all the wrong reasons

  • Morgan K Freeberg February 2, 2018, 4:46 PM

Agree with Mr. Klahn. Except for the part about it going in the toilet…

This is not news to anyone who’s been watching the media & democrats. It’s news to those who thought they’d make themselves InstantlyBetterPeople by supporting democrats. Now everyone with brain matter upwards of the stem, not just us operators of crackpot right-wing blogs, can see

    1. You automatically get an “out of jail free” card when you’re a dem;
    2. The dems will just make up lies about you and execute warrants on you for not supporting dems;
    3. Therefore, if you’re slimy and unscrupulous, AND sloppy, and need that out-of-jail-free card…you should (and you do) become a dem.

It’s wonderful to see the truth getting out where more people can see it. Don’t want to abuse the word “awesome” any further. But it’s like hot coffee and cold chicken on a lazy Saturday morning, while listening to The Doors on full blast and getting a Monica under the desk.

This will go down as the scandal at least twice as bad as Watergate, but no bad guy politicians are ever damaged, because “Democrat.”

Has anyone written on all the parallels to watergate? It is the closest thing I’ve seen since then.

It is obvious from Dir. Wray’s statement to the FIB rank and file today that the FIB is an evil cult: populated to the man or woman of true believers in their irreproachable adamantine rectitude. Their minds refuse to even consider for an infinitesimal moment that any one of them have ever done anything wrong in their Pursuit of Justice. Hence the closing of ranks and the fury with which they attack all who question the FIB’s motives or actions. They all know that that is supposed to be the FIB’s reason for existence. And if that faith is broken within themselves, then the FIB will die.

We see the story being shaped. There was enough smoke in the pee-pee dossier, that true or not, compromised or not, the FIB’s must pursue it. By any means possible. If procedure and process were bent or broken, We The FIB’s Had A Very Good Reason which all you scum-sucking worms Dast Not Question. We Are Incorruptible and you dirt people and your pathetic “representatives” have neither the Right nor the Station to Hold Us to Count For Our Actions.

And no one, No One, not of the FIBbies has the right or the power or the cause to question our Pure and Unsullied Motives. Begone with you, blackguards!

There are gaping holes that tell the tale. What about the mid-2016 failed FISA application? If Carter Page was such a self-promoting peripheral non-entity in the Trump Campaign, then there would have been little chance of scoring any direct Trump conversations. So obviously the still-classified foreign FISA targets, renewal after renewal, were other Russians that Page might once have talked to in a hallway somewhere while he was doing his hustling thing, with the list of Russians being those who did have the chance of talking directly to the campaign and then the Transition Team, and then the new Administration afterwards. No doubt the FIB’s queried other Deep State Swamp organizations, like the State Dept and the UN Ambassador, to figure out who the targets should be. Like all good federal bureaucracies, there are inter-department steering committees, and principals-only committees, unrecorded and unremarked.

And that’s why the oily snake the UN Ambassador was unmasking every single conversation and passing the dirt to the political hatchet men in the DNC and the media. Like Werner von Braun, “where the rockets come down is not Our Department, says [the FIB man]”. The FIBs have no interest in any of this seeing the light of day. The FIBbies Motives Are Ever Pure, with bureaucratic courtesy shown to their Peers in the Swamp. It’s only you damn dirt people that they are interested in catching. Martha Stewart is thrown in jail, the Hell-borne Harridan walks free as a bird.

Stop hoping for it. Stop hoping for any of it. Never will there be a FIBbie who turns State’s Evidence. There are no “good” men and women in the FIB, not a one. They are all crazed fanatics. Every one of them is Incorruptible and Pure, there is no State’s Evidence to turn.

Like our host here said below, “Only by fire …”

Nobody at FBI/EPA/DOJ/State/DNC/RNC/EPA etc, etc. ever made it past “Rules for Radicals”.

They should have read “The Prince”, and had somebody explain the big words.

I admired Trump’s appointment of selected Marines to key posts. But I didn’t give him near enough credit at the time.

  • TJ February 2, 2018, 10:25 PM

The media spin going on is fascinating.

    “Squirrel!!!”

Painfully obvious that Hillary (the Clinton Campaign) controlled the DNC, and the DNC was the money behind the piss papers.

Hillary and her coven casting spells, Barry hanging out at gay bars & Chicago bathhouses, Biden whispering in little girls ears…

  • Howard Nelson February 2, 2018, 10:45 PM

Astonishingly, it seems the swamp is being drained and the cesspools being muckraked.
When some of the dastards are convicted as the traitors they are, not mere criminals, the earned shame and stigma will have long-term value.

  • ghostsniper February 3, 2018, 4:39 AM

What are you people going on about?
Since I blocked google news the skies became blue again, not the smarmy gray they’d been for so long.
    And food tastes better.
Anyway, if the rain holds off and the temp gets above freezing I’m gonna haul the floor jack, some dunnage, and the Stihl chainsaw down into the forest and attack a downed sugar maple with a 30 pound burl perched on the side. If I’m successful, and I’m not optimistic I will be, that burl will be bagged and stashed behind the workshop before dark-thirty. Then in about a year, after it has dried to about 6% I’ll pinch it between the head and tail stocks and over a period of a week or 2 turn it into a fabulous piece of artwork and offer it to the public at large, or put it on the fireplace mantel. I got yer FBI right here….

    Ghost,
I’m glad you have a worthy project in the woods and the time to engage it. I think the good folks above, and me included, are disgusted by the fact that what we highly suspected was true, is actually true. Kind of like someone telling you that your sister is a bit promiscuous versus knowing for sure that she works full-time at a whore house. More of our Gubmit is corrupt than we would like to acknowledge. I know you have been a long time skeptic, but realizing high levels of our Gubmit are no better than a banana republic does not sit well.
