1967: “There’s a great future in plastics.” 2019: “There’s a great future in sh*t.”

One way or another this sh*t has got to stop:

“If I could express all of our country’s problems into one word, I’d say that word is sh*t. We’ve got sh*tty schools filling students’ heads full of progressive sh*t, and when the sh*theads graduate, they start voting for sh*tbird politicians who implement sh*t policies that turn their cities and states into sh*tty sh*tholes. And then, after a few years, when their sh*thole cities get so completely filled with sh*t that it flows through the streets, the sh*theads say, ‘hey, I can’t live here any more, it’s a sh*thole.’ So then the sh*theads move to some other part of the country that’s not a sh*thole, but then, because they’re sh*theads, and not well-versed on the whole cause-and-effect thing, they vote for the same sh*tbirds who implement the same sh*t policies that have turned the places they came from into sh*tholes and their new homes gradually turn into sh*tholes that look just like the old sh*tholes, and they never seem to figure out why. And that, ladies and gentlemen, is why our country is turning into sh*t.”  — The Morning Rant

If I weren’t so lazy, I’d print a hundred copies and post them where our hipsters congregate.

This post would seem to mesh well with the earlier Florida post. TEDTalk Gorilla is indeed a simian of many parts.

I admire a man who has his sh*t together, and is willing to spread it around.

The multiple-choice test says all you need to know about Democrat aka Leftist run cities.
In the last few years, I have added the following folders to my bookmarks just for them:
Rabid Left, Crazy People, and Doomsday.

FWIW, I saw “The Graduate” during its first theater run (yeah, I really am that old).
At the time, it seemed rather romantic, and of course there was the Simon & Garfunkle score, but in retrospect, its plot and production were part of the beginning of the slide down the, ahem, slippery slope.

    OT, but…
I sincerely apologize for the facebarf share about the Chinese machine.

Dealing with sh*t used to be an honorable and well paid trade. Now, when sh*t happens, just walk away. That is why our cities look, and smell, the way they do. “Ain’t mine”.

The budgets for the great and glorious rarely have lines for maintenance and sanitation. And those who need it most, do it least. “Ain’t mine.” When the stink is bad enough, move on.

“Downtown” had a tradition of clean stairs and walks. During some rebuild work, I was cleaning up bits and pieces when a neighbor came out to sweep up the “sh*t” of the city and carry it to the dumpster (not the gutter). I don’t think that he understood why I smiled. He was not like the others.

You have to work at it.

Liberals will never figure out why the cities they move to turn to shit.
