The Communist Left warmly embraces LGBTQ degenerates, the BLM, Antifa and every other group that advocates free everything, unlimited and mandated perversity and the destruction of the US and they demand that the entire country, really, the entire world do likewise under threat of punishment by law. The foundation of the Right and within its rank and file is to positively state that there are absolutes within society that are right and wrong and to refuse support any platform that demands subservience to the wrong demands of the CL and to still, within the context of the idea of this country’s creation, advocate and provide liberty and justice for all through carefully planned laws for the administration of society.
Morality and belief and trust in Providence don’t exist in the former but they are the strongest element of the latter and without them this Republic will fail. I tend to think that this country particularly, which might be considered as the Gold Standard since its origination, is devaluing itself and dancing to the Devil’s music.
My concern is how much, in its breathless quest for support from moderate Leftists and non-conservatives in this fractured society, does the Right have to yield to obtain the tantalizing support (money and votes) from those who conservatives know, good and damned well, will happily support us if we give them the nod of acceptance and free reign to spread their message and infiltrate our side of society without a word?
With Trump at the helm I think that he will play fair and work to halt the progress of the Left but if another conservative (excluding Mike Pence) were to hold that office I think he would be grabbing his ankles at every opportunity if it meant support for his job. And for that reason, conservatives should be very careful and selective when pandering what may well be Trojan horses for support.
One of my brothers is gay. In years past we were closer. I had plenty of contact with the “gay community”, and would have been considered an ally. Now we do not speak at all. The gay community is almost monolithically left wing, and they are not a tolerant bunch. This kid took a bigger risk than you or I can appreciate. No doubt he will be ostracized, and demonized for this video. He will get his ass kicked in one way or another.
