This old anvil laughs at many broken hammers.
There are men who can’t be bought.
The fireborn are at home in fire.
The stars make no noise.
You can’t hinder the wind from blowing.
Time is a great teacher.
Who can live without hope?
In the darkness with a great bundle of grief
the people march.
In the night, and overhead a shovel of stars for
keeps, the people march:
“Where to? what next?”

Nice. Happy 4th of July to all on American Digest, and particularly to Gerard.
Am I missing something, or shouldn’t there be a massive Independence Day parade in DC with POTUS in attendance? If there is, it sure isn’t getting much play in the media.
Some shred of America will survive what’s coming.
HAPPY INDEPENDENCE DAY!.
Take some time re read the founding documents, their intent, the sprit of what is met by the very words recorded in that single most important document in these UNITED STATES.
If you have time, Re-read the bill of rights, the federalist papers, etc etc.
Most importantly recognize this “ Thing” going on in this country isn’t politics, it’s evil vs non evil, tyranny vs freedom.
The founding documents clearly support freedom loving Americans, not the douche bags in DC.
I will always take the UNITED STATES for 1.000.000 Gerard!
China, Russia and our own representatives clearly understand, We The People are building our own army, cuz we recognize we can’t count on their army, Your Govt, is scared shitless of We The People! They know it’s simply a matter of time before we grow tired of the shit show, the grift, everything DC represents.
In the mean time in negotiations for my very own F-15, a supply Sgt at the base has agreed to sell me one, and the tools which shoot off the wings, and center line!. Gonna have to sell my comic book collection to generate this much cash.
Happy Independence Day to you all.

Wonderful little video, Gerard.
Happy Independence Day to everyone!
To any one interested, here are Thomas Jefferson’s “rough draft” of the Declaration of Independence, before Congress altered it, and John Adam’s letter to his wife Abigail regarding the Declaration:

Now I know what I’ll have carved into my tombstone. — in viking runes, of course.
