Black Lives Matter Org Deletes About Page Calling for ‘Disruption’ of Nuclear Family In the since-removed section of the website, Black Lives Matter said its mission is to “disrupt the Western-prescribed nuclear family structure,” to “dismantle the patriarchal practice that requires mothers to work ‘double shifts’ so that they can mother in private even as they participate in public justice work,” as well as “foster a queer-affirming network” by “freeing ourselves from the tight grip of heteronormative thinking, or rather, the belief that all in the world are heterosexual.”

Department Of Justice Identifies New York City, Portland And Seattle As Jurisdictions Permitting Violence And Destruction Of Property  The U.S. Department of Justice today identified the following three jurisdictions that have permitted violence and destruction of property to persist and have refused to undertake reasonable measures to counteract criminal activities: New York City; Portland, Oregon; and Seattle, Washington. The Department of Justice is continuing to work to identify jurisdictions that meet the criteria set out in the President’s Memorandum and will periodically update the list of selected jurisdictions as required therein.

The list was published on DOJ’s website today in response to President Trump’s memorandum of September 2, 2020, entitled “Memorandum on Reviewing Funding to State and Local Government Recipients That Are Permitting Anarchy, Violence, and Destruction in American Cities.”

When There are No Consequences for Anything

It may sound paranoid, but I feel compelled to ask: is Barack Obama running some kind of shadow government from his Kalorama fortress —that is, issuing suggestions (or instructions) to scores of loyal high officials in federal agencies for opposing and undermining everything the current president attempts to do — such as Mr. Trump’s executive order this week to cease and desist the depraved “critical race theory” and “white privilege” struggle sessions run all over DC by obscenely highly-paid “diversity-and-inclusion” consultants? And what role is Hillary Clinton playing behind-the-scenes these pre-election days, since her foundation is so heavily invested in the DNC, and she is issuing directives on subverting the election through a complicit news media?

How on earth can responsible adults pretend that the empty shell of Joe Biden is a plausible candidate for president? What will Joe do in the two scheduled debates without his teleprompter or an earpiece? He can’t possibly perform without them (and barely even with them, it appears lately). When was the last time Joe Biden took impromptu questions from reporters? When has he stood before a crowd of actual voters, not live-action-role-players picked by his handlers? Who is trying to hustle the USA out of existence and what are you going to do to stop them?

George Foreman’s Family:  Foreman has 12 children, five sons, and seven daughters. His five sons are George Jr., George III (“Monk”), George IV (“Big Wheel”), George V (“Red”), and George VI (“Little Joey”). Foreman explains, “I named all my sons George Edward Foreman so they would always have something in common. I say to them, ‘If one of us goes up, then we all go up together, and if one goes down, we all go down together!'”   His seven daughters are Natalia, Leola, Freeda, Michi, Georgetta, Isabella, and Courtney.

So, How Do They Dump Biden? We’re days away from them pulling Grandpa Badfinger out of the debate. My money is still on the “I won’t normalize Trump’s racist cisgender sexism by appearing on stage with him” excuse, but “I fear the flu” is a close second. His recent catastrophic appearances outside his dungeon lair demonstrate that this guy couldn’t hack a debate if he was snorting rails of Namenda like Hunter hoovering blow on New Year’s Eve in Medellin. Trump holds an indisputable edge in other important areas, too, like enthusiasm, ground game, and continence.

Leftists Frantically Begin Rebuilding Everything They Burned Down So They Can Burn It Down Again

Christianity, and this is its greatest merit, has somewhat mitigated the brutal German love of war, but it could not destroy it. Should that subduing talisman, the cross, be shattered, the frenzied madness of the ancient warriors, that insane Berserk rage of which the Nordic bards have spoken and sung so often, will once more burst into flame. Christianity is fragile. And the day will come when it will collapse miserably. Then the ancient stony gods will rise from the forgotten debris and rub the dust of a thousand years from their eyes. And then Thor, with his giant hammer will jump up and smash the gothic cathedrals.

Do not smile at the advice, the advice of a dreamer who warns you against Kantians, Fichteans, and philosophers of nature. Do not smile at the visionary who anticipates the same revolution in the realm of the visible that has already taken place in the realm of the spirit. Thought precedes action, as lightning precedes thunder. German thunder is of true Teutonic character. It is not nimble, but rumbles ponderously. Yet it will come. And when you hear a crashing such as never before has been heard in the history of the world, then you will know that the German thunderbolt has fallen. At that uproar, the eagles of the air will drop dead. The lions in the remotest deserts of Africa will hide in their royal dens. A play will be performed in Germany which will make the French Revolution look like an innocent idyll. — Heine, 1834

Do Goblins Go To Hell? | The Z Blog In the long run, none of this matters. As we have seen with so many justices, once they get on the court their skin suit falls away to reveal their reptilian nature. Whoever Trump nominates will go native and do the bidding of the Inner Party. Like all of the other institutions, the court is only a weapon against the people now, never a weapon on behalf of the people. This is the result of being ruled by an alien elite. Still, Ginsberg is dead and Lucifer has another soul to torment.

RBG’s near-death experiences had reached a number where it was starting to look as if she was immortal. She was in the hospital more than the typical nurse, but somehow always managed to recover. It turns out that her deal with Old Scratch did have an expiry date and the world rejoices. They announced her death Friday night, but who knows when she really died.

Jame’s Woods is also doing God’s work by sharing that lovely clip. Her baby needed diapers; very glad someone could help at that moment.

Mach speeds. It’s still an aviator. Yawn. (I’ve had Navy jets blast past me on a mountain peak – it’s actually pretty exciting but I had to get in that dig)

Germans. They codified the very art of warfare, and plunged the world into a global war more than once. But, keep in mind they also gave us Martin Luther, and the reformation of the church.

More later as I digest this post.

The heat wave broke today, and for the first time in many days the sky was clear. Last day of the summer of bummer. So I loaded the fat tire bike on the pickup, and drove down to Huntington Beach for a solo cruise. It was as perfect a fall day as you could ask for. No crowd at the beach. Very little traffic on the bike path. Something felt odd and different, and it struck me that I was enjoying the first good mood I’ve had since I can remember. I was smiling. I said, “Good morning” to other cyclists, and the pedestrians I passed on the trail. I got down to Warner Street, and had to get across Coast Highway to run a small errand. I rolled up to the cross walk at the same time as some other geezer about my age who was on a road bike. I smiled, and said, Good mornin’. Nice day, huh?
“Well it would be if it wasn’t for all these damn Trump supporters.”
I just blew it. “You people can’t keep your goddamn politics out of anything can you? I just said, ‘”good morning’ to you, and you…”
He kept it up. I was cranking pissed now. I went from incredulous to angry.
“Y’know, All I did was wish you a good day and you shove your fucking politics in my face. You are pathetic.”
The light changed and I started through the intersection. He was next to me, now ranting about Ginsburg. I went from pissed to furious,
“FUCK YOU ASSHOLE. GO PISS UP A ROPE.”
He got the message, sprinted ahead, and started putting distance between us, not hard on a fast roadie. My old Dyno weighs close to forty pounds. I saw him pull into a side street a block or so ahead of me. As I chugged up the hill, he rolled out. All I did was stare. Hard. Apparently he though better of opening his mouth again. Just passed me by without a word. The rest of the cruise was uneventful. My good mood returned, and I made good time through the traffic on the way home.

“…all these Trump supporters.” Fuck him, jmw. And the bike he rode in on.

Got some questions, jmw, since I do get to HB once in awhile. Is it now smokey there? I heard it was being inundated with homeless, or the beach communities were. Did that seem to be the case to you?

I have dear friends who have a house there, and I hope to house-stay one day in the future. It’s a cool place. My friends are, I fear, not conservatives. But, I’ve seen enough vids showing the conservatives there to imagine that they make up a pretty hefty chunk of the population.

Come November, all these Trump supporters are going to ram it straight up the collective ass of the libs. They live in an echo chamber and they think they make perfect sense.

So glad of todays news where AG Barr has arrested a shitload of rioters, and Trump has defunded Seattle, Portland and NYC. Now, if Esper is on the ball, he will start deploying security to DC and key state capitols. Just my assessment.

Casey says, “Germans. They codified the very art of warfare, and plunged the world into a global war more than once. But, keep in mind they also gave us Martin Luther, and the reformation of the church.”

I wonder whether Heine was also thinking of Rome’s greatest military defeat, the clades Variana or Varian disaster, when three entire Roman legions were wiped out by a Germanic tribal ambush in the Teutoburg Forest in 9 A.D. The exact location of the battle was debated until a British Army major (and amateur archaeologist) named Tony Clunn discovered some Roman coins dating from the reign of Augustus at Kalkriese, a village near Osnabrück in northwestern Germany. German archaeologists have since uncovered battle debris and other first-century artifacts in the area. The significance of the battle of the Teutoburg Forest is that the Romans withdrew behind the Rhine, allowing western Europe to be divided between the countries that were Romanized and those that remained Germanic. This cultural split haunted Europe up through World War II: the Germans won the battle with Varus in 9 A.D., but in a larger sense they were the losers. Here is a link to a 45-minute video about the historical consequences of the battle as well as the course of the battle itself:

Myself, I think that the Thirty Years’ War was the final blow to Germany’s potential to form a cohesive nation-state during the same period as France and England, and its retarded formation (1870) cost the rest of Europe dearly.

I’d add Johann Sebastian Bach to Casey’s mention of Luther and the Reformation as one of Germany’s gifts to the world. And now that Beethoven is being attacked by the BLM crowd, we should stand up for him too.

    Casey:
Of course the homeless are everywhere, but the city of HB isn’t bad at all. Most of the bums are in Venice or Santa Monica. HBPD has a badass reputation. To paraphrase Dylan, If you’re lookin’ to get silly, HB ain’t the place for it. There are lots of Trump signs uptown. It’s probably the redest beach town in Orange County. Let me know if you make a visit. I can bring a bike down for you, and arrange for a few folks to come and take you cruisin’. If you’re here on the second Saturday of the month You can cruise with the whole RatRod Riders B/C on our monthly gig.

This is what used to be on the BLM “About Us” page:

The Black Lives Matter Global Network is as powerful as it is because of our membership, our partners, our supporters, our staff, and you. Our continued commitment to liberation for all Black people means we are continuing the work of our ancestors and fighting for our collective freedom because it is our duty.

Every day, we recommit to healing ourselves and each other, and to co-creating alongside comrades, allies, and family a culture where each person feels seen, heard, and supported.

We acknowledge, respect, and celebrate differences and commonalities.

We work vigorously for freedom and justice for Black people and, by extension, all people.

We intentionally build and nurture a beloved community that is bonded together through a beautiful struggle that is restorative, not depleting.

We are unapologetically Black in our positioning. In affirming that Black Lives Matter, we need not qualify our position. To love and desire freedom and justice for ourselves is a prerequisite for wanting the same for others.

We see ourselves as part of the global Black family, and we are aware of the different ways we are impacted or privileged as Black people who exist in different parts of the world.

We are guided by the fact that all Black lives matter, regardless of actual or perceived sexual identity, gender identity, gender expression, economic status, ability, disability, religious beliefs or disbeliefs, immigration status, or location.

We make space for transgender brothers and sisters to participate and lead.

We are self-reflexive and do the work required to dismantle cisgender privilege and uplift Black trans folk, especially Black trans women who continue to be disproportionately impacted by trans-antagonistic violence.

We build a space that affirms Black women and is free from sexism, misogyny, and environments in which men are centered.

We practice empathy. We engage comrades with the intent to learn about and connect with their contexts.

We make our spaces family-friendly and enable parents to fully participate with their children. We dismantle the patriarchal practice that requires mothers to work “double shifts” so that they can mother in private even as they participate in public justice work.

We disrupt the Western-prescribed nuclear family structure requirement by supporting each other as extended families and “villages” that collectively care for one another, especially our children, to the degree that mothers, parents, and children are comfortable.

We foster a queer‐affirming network. When we gather, we do so with the intention of freeing ourselves from the tight grip of heteronormative thinking, or rather, the belief that all in the world are heterosexual (unless s/he or they disclose otherwise).

We cultivate an intergenerational and communal network free from ageism. We believe that all people, regardless of age, show up with the capacity to lead and learn.

We embody and practice justice, liberation, and peace in our engagements with one another.

jwm, you’re too kind, my friend. Well, the world will slowly re-ravel, or completely unravel. Who knows? The beach will still be there, I know. I’ll for sure think about that bike loan.

When I was there last time, a P-51 Mustang flew parallel to the beach, and performed an Immelmann turn. Lots of thrills and fun in the sun.

Stay safe. Don’t blast too many nutjobs; maybe leave some for the rest of us.
