Achtung! Do you know this girl? Report her to the White House. -- Perfunction

And remember, kids, Obama's dissident database could be secret -- and permanent.

Note: August 4th was the 65th anniversary of the betrayal of Anne Frank
On the morning of 4 August 1944, the Achterhuis was stormed by the German Security Police (Grüne Polizei) following a tip-off from an informer who was never identified.[32]

Your Say

Wow, you and Perfunction totally missed the point. It's not about "informing" on fellow citizens. The White House wants to find out about what sorts of rumors (lies) are being propagated (e.g., health reform will lead to euthanasia), so they can be prepared to counter them.

Also, as a relative of Holocaust victims, I'm especially sickened by your use of Anne Frank—one more victim of the extreme right.

The fevered imagination that came up with this little atrocity must have thought it was really witty - and people who post it probably can't imagine how disgusted most of the rest of us are growing when we have to witness your crassness and dishonesty. Only really stupid people would fall for a campaign like this, and they're already mostly on your side - FAIL!

Pot shining kettle to a mirror surface.

As to the illo (and I'll put this in the post too): "On the morning of 4 August 1944, the Achterhuis was stormed by the German Security Police (Grüne Polizei) following a tip-off from an informer who was never identified"

I think both comments miss the point on how exactly data collection works. emails are collected as well as IP points of origin as well as content of email.

To assume that this is forever benign is foolish. And besides, exactly how does one "inform" the White House without specifics? Does one say that nobody said the following at nowhere at no time?

Also the contention that the White House just wants to find out "what sorts of rumors (lies) are being propagated" is just so much arrant nonsense. The White House knows very well indeed what the mass of people are saying. It just doesn't like them. Well, tough shit.

The National SOCIALIST Party was not "right-wing" in the sense you mean, i.e. it was not conservative. It was extremely Progressive and, like today's left, was engaged in a cultural, political, economic, and moral revolution. It's chief enemies: bourgeois constitutional democracy, free market capitalism, and Judeo-Christian ethics. (Do those enemies sound familiar to you, my dear leftist?)

Of course, the Nazis DID have universal health care under the control of state commissions.

how sickening that you use the death of my relatives in the holocaust to advance your stupidity.

in the real world, the bush administration tapped millions of phone conversations: i'm sure you protested, you sick thugs.

I don't think Mr. "Litwak" really has understood the deeper meaning of the Holocaust or betrayal.
