Obama: Don't stock up on guns "Lawful gun owners have nothing to fear. I said that throughout the campaign. I haven't indicated anything different during the transition. I think people can take me at my word."Posted by Vanderleun at December 9, 2008 2:49 AM. This is an entry on the sideblog of American Digest: Check it out.
Your Say
Politicians are like convicts, if their lips are moving they're lying.

Love the retro ad. Love. It.
Also, given that Zero can parse language like the Xlintons, don't forget to stock up on ammunition. A gun without bullets is effectively a rock or a club.

What was "his word" on public funds and campaign finance?

Yeah, I guess we can also trust Obama's "word" when he says he didn't know anything about Governor Blago's shenanigans.
Riiiiiiiiiiiiight.

An honest man would follow
"I said that throughout the campaign" with "and that's what I mean"
When I hear
I haven't indicated anything different during the transition
I suspect we'll be debating the meaning of "is" again before long.

I notice he doesn't promise not to mess with what constitutes "lawful" gun ownership.

When they take our guns away, can we use swords?

Well, it would seem at least that people, a lot of them, remember when Klinton took office and proceeded to go hog wild gun control with his Democrat cronies dominating the congress for two straight years. They did a lot of damage and meant to do a whole lot more before the Dems lost congress in 94'.

Only $84 for a Match Target Woodsman?
I wish I had a time machine. A nice example of one of those today will set you back $600, easy.
Looks like classic American .22 plinkers from the 50's and 60's would have been a better investment than the stock market.

Keep in mind his voting record is wall-to-wall extreme anti gun. Now, how does that reconcile with his campaign? Not at all, of course.
Just watched "300". Who reminds you more of Obama: Leonides of Sparta, or Xerxes the Persian God-King?
I'll be keeping my guns, thank you very much.

Those old pistols are very attractive. Love those old designs. Thanks for the ad and the memories.
